One of, if not the best MT interview I have seen, and I have been a huge fan since 2006. The interviewers were the best kind - they didn't make it about them, they simply facilitated the discussion. It was long form, no obnoxious or unnecessary jump cuts. 10/10, please make more of these kinds of long and well thought out interviews!!! Perhaps Plini, Mark Holcomb, Myles Kennedy, Devin Townsend, Al di Meola?
This guy is the reason i picked up a guitar back when I first heard Creed. It took me 20 years, but I finally got a US PRS Tremonti for my 46th birthday. It's worth every penny. I don't use the term often, but he's my guitar hero.
Someone that has this much talent, this much drive, and also surrounds himself with some of the most talented, driven people, success is the only outcome.
Outstanding interview. Thanks for the personal EVH stories. I attended one of Mark’s guitar clinic this summer. He is an amazing guitarist and all around great dude.
The dude is just a fantastic musician, hope to attend his up coming guitar clinic in detroit. He is a true inspiration. He makes me want to become a better guitar player.
If the interviewers were talking about the Just Too Much music video at 10:19, Eric is definitely using a white Myles Kennedy signature guitar not the nf53. You can see his guitar has a black headstock cap and the Myles knob layout in the video, along with it being solid white
Mark is my favorite living guitar player. I got to go to his clinic at an AB show and he was just the coolest dude ever. I saw them once before, and I was totally and completely Star Struck. Fangirl and all man. I was an embarrassment But as soon as you walk into a room with Mark and a bunch of other fans and sit down for a lesson, he's just some guy. It's hard to explain, but all of that celebrity Star Struck shit just went away immediately. And I made him laugh a few times which was pretty cool. He got on UA-cam and pulled up one of the AB music videos and he played along with his solo People started asking questions about that particular solo and as soon as he called on me, I forgot my question so I was just like Hey man, you should buy those guys' records. They're a kickass band. He laughed and then I hit him with that lead guitar player in Alter Bridge, he is way better than you. Some guy named Mark. Hell of a player. 😂 Then he's getting pretty serious telling us about recording and writing and coming up with solos and I'm like Hey dude, I'm listening to everything you're saying about music and writing and everything and I was just wondering, have you ever thought about maybe getting a band together and releasing a few records? I bet you'd be pretty good at it. Might be a great fall back if these guitar lessons don't work out 😂 That one got him! 😂
My favorite guitar I own to this day is the Tremonti SE, I believe it was the 2nd version they put out. It has the birds and is red, but is thinner and lighter. Plays amazing. I added the tremonti pickups and sanded the neck to be bare and it probably won't be replaced as my favorite ever. $500 guitar new. Price is not everything.
Ian Thornley and Myles Kennedy are actually quite good friends! They toured together alot back in Myles’ Mayfield Four days and hit it off as two great guitar players, as well as being great vocalists and being all- round good guys with no ego issues. 💪
I was so pumped to hear this, being Canadian and my two favorite bands being Big Wreck and Alter Bridge. Hearing Mark talk about Ian and Jerry made me feel validated in my music taste!!
Great Interview, in depth and Mark is just a great guy. The fact, that his Signature Wah (IMO one of the best Rock/Metal-Wahs) has been treated like that by the new morely owning company baffles me. Especially since the continued Vai´s Wah... Strange decision, but Mark having plans of his own. Would be great, if it stays around the pricepoint of his OG Signature Wah.
I’m currently looking at my twenty-year old Morley Tremonti Power Wah thinking “How could they do this to you?!” 😂 That pedal is the only one I’ve kept in twenty years. It’s a bomb-proof beast.

Wow, thanks for the praise! We aim to get better every interview and video, stay tuned!
I loved the hell out of this video. Mark seems so much more relaxed with guys who just get it.

I love Mark. He was in the zone during this interview.
100%
That must’ve been a fun interview for him being able to talk with other people that share knowledge and a passion for gear.
Mark is the definitive example of who every musician should aspire to be. He really has it all.
Thank the gods we live in the time of AB, Tremonti, & Myles. Myles and Mark are gifts that keep on giving.

Mark is the best. Great songwriter, musician, singer and such a nice guy.
Someone that has this much talent, this much drive, and also surrounds himself with some of the most talented, driven people, success is the only outcome.
Probably the best interview I have seen of mark. Well done all around. I had him on my podcast last year and it was great!
Huge fan of Tremonti since a while and have to admit this is one of the best interviews I’ve ever seen!
He’s such a nice guy
Hard work and being a tremendous human pay off guys. All the respect in the World for MT. 🤘🏻🇺🇸🎸🔥
I could listen to Tremonti talk gear all day. I have a '22 Tremonti Core Signature. It's obnoxious how good this freaking guitar is!
He’s a phenomenal guy. I love listening to him
its not just the music - Mark is an all round humble guy with great personality traits making him and rest of the fellas good humane role models.
Hung out with tremonti Twice and the band great guitar player one of my favs Rock on brother

Maybe my favourite Mark interview ever... Not the usual questions, just 3 dudes talking shop. So good.
Mark T, such a gentleman. One dude you'd love to have a beer with
I love Mark, such an inspiring guy..... and absolutely there's a wah on Blackbird❤
Great interview y’all!
Outstanding interview. Thanks for the personal EVH stories. I attended one of Mark’s guitar clinic this summer. He is an amazing guitarist and all around great dude.

He’s been mine since I was 14. 38 now 😂
This is like the confessions thread, right? Yeh me too. 35 years old. Love the guy. Ever since the Open Your Eyes video, that ripping solo.
We have something to confess as well…
Great interview. Thanks for just letting Mark geek out.
Mark Tremonti is one of the coolest dudes in the business
Guys you are the best interviewers. Perfect interview I love Mark
Great interview !!
Thank you guys, amazing ITW, cheers from France :)
Love seeing awesome musos nerding out about gear. Great chat!

That color AMS shirt needs black lettering. I'd want one!
killer interview - thanks guys!
Ian & Big Wreck deserve all the accolades in the world. Supremely underrated
Absolutely adore this guy

Great interview! Can’t wait to check out these new pedals.

Thornley solo album man….so good. Q0 years old but still amazing. I don’t know how this man writes so much god stuff
great interview. Mark seems like a cool dude and a good dad.
yesss Tremonti is the man
Seeing him with Creed back in July had me pick up my guitar again after a long sabbatical.
1:50 A potential Creed song written already!!! Sounds so good to hear.
They have a whole catalog all the way back to 2012. But yeah hopefully new stuff too

WHAT??? You can buy a guitar that was used on a AB or Creed track??? 🤯 Couldn’t ever afford one, but still cool as hell!
You guys are so cool! Love everything about this 🤩🤟🤟
That was a great listen!
I fucking love it when the guitarist is a whole ass guitar nerd, and likes talking gear.
The video title 😂
Just saw your comment and read the title. 😂😂😂 Didn't notice 😂
Working on pedals with Shawn Tubbs...is the the designer Dan Trudeau?🤞🤞
The only reason I own a PRS is because of his signature model.
Eric uses Myles signature guitar. Not the NF53
Aaight Mark where's next Creed record?

It is not the price of guitars or flipper that goes up, it is the value of money (debt) that comes down and is our leash, because private.
The mystery behind the Morley Wah pedal has been answered. I had no idea they got bought up. I thought something was up with them.
I'll build your pedals lol sounds like you need the CEO of Technicians. ;-)
I'm bored, let's go
A 165k+ purchase at a swap meet ???
This guy has money. He does not get a cordless thing for his guitar.
I hope Tremonti is taking care of himself. He looks tired here.
