A cracking camp in the Ettrick Hills, taking in the amazing Craigmichen Scar. I’ve also included a first impressions take on the Durston X-mid 1p shelter. I really enjoyed this camp, definitely up there with one of my favourites. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it. Cheers, Dave
I’d just like to give a thanks to my mate @AndyWardle for the recent shoutout, I’ve gained quite a few new subscribers and I’m over the moon with the support. Lots more to come on the channel. Andy is one of the reasons I wild camp, the original old skool campers, including Mark Stoker & Dave Murphy (RIP), Kilburnicus I trawled their channels for tips & kit back in the day 😂. Cheers

Very similar to the Hen Hole Geordie I was blown away by the size of the waterfall. The rucksack is spot on, Sierra Designs, those wine holders are spot on 😂, thanks mate, take it easy, Dave 👍👍

I was literally looking at Capel fell on the map last night as I'd spotted it at weekend from where I was on Swatte Fell.

Aye it’s a lovely area, it’s like the Cheviots on steroids 😂. It’s a place I’ll deffo be going back too. I’m not sure on the height of the poles, I basically set them until everything is taught , maybe I should measure them though, good tip.

Stunning views all around on this, such beautiful landscape in Scotland. That scar was certainly impressive with cracking drone work as always. Where are you getting the music from for these vids? its definitely not UA-cam surely lol
