A nice feature about japanese snowsurf maker Atsushi Gomyo with a short appearance of Pogo shaper Ben Dietermann & friends by Hokkaido based filmmaker Neil Hartmann.
Never even thought that there was a surfing scene inside of the snowboard scene? With builders, and meet-ups and a community? I need to try building a snow surfboard. Just wood? so cool!
Come on mate, this is my favorite video on UA-cam, and I watch A lot of UA-cam😂😂 so pleaseeeee make a part 2. I get such a pleasant and relaxed feeling whenever I watch this. Great job!
After building my first snowsurfer and a couple of snowboards, I would never have thought to just skip the UHMWPE base and use the core as the sliding surface. I'll have to give it a try, I wonder what he sealed it with?
Looks like some kind of clear laquer or varnish. You could look into what they use to seal surfboards; I bet a similar material would work for these as well. How did you get into building boards?

Priceless masterpiece. Want to shape your first deck? Just watch it carefully. So simple, so deep. Total connection with Nature.
