@@mcfourth That's good. If you want to deal with sustain-type heroes and also ATK-SPD reliant heroes, use Dominance Ice. Not only because it has life drain and ATK SPD reduction, but also good for frontline heroes like him.
Jawhead is very powerful not only he can burst down enemies easily he can counter lots of fighters and indeed is decent when it comes to offlaning, but outstanding when used as a tank especially when you're always engaging or likes to mess with enemies.
After jawhead buff, I encountered him so many times now though it's not that often. But every time there is a jawhead in enemy team the game is really hard because jawhead deals more damage now. So I will agree with Elgin that soon jawhead will be popular again.
Yeah, there have been some jungle Jawheads popping up in matches lately, but they’re obviously still getting used to it. My core jh main dad loves finding core jh enemies and 1v1ing them.
His 1st skill does a lot of damage in the jungle and he's probably one of the heroes that can kill creeps very easily. Being a jungler also benefits him because his mana is easy to drain which can be supplemented with the blue buff.
I fought a JH jungler few days ago and it really performs well, can easily burst dow squishy heroes, supports, assasins, mages. Build him with high and dry and a mix of tank items, he'll strive.
Yesterday I used Jawhead as a tank/roamer and I still had decent amount of damage and totally carried my team, jaw's second skill is really good to tilt the tide of a battle... Jawhead is really underrated in my opinion
Tip for Jawhead Players/Mains: If you're planning to Jungle with Jawhead, don't buy Blade of Heptaseas as first item (it's a very underwhelming item), instead buy Hunter Strike. It has speed boost, CDR, penetration and damage. Perfect for early game heroes like Jawhead. And if you're planning to Roam with Jawhead, buy Guardian Helmet as first item. This item is extremely underrated, you can basically keep ganking with Jawhead because you don't need to recall (unless you're low on mana). Guardian Helmet as first item is also good for Roamers like Franco, Ruby and Atlas.
I run Jawhead as jungler, I reached 3.1k mmr and I started playing ML 2 weeks ago. I see all the top global Jawhead users have teams. I’m new so I don’t know anyone. I hit 2 savages while playing ranked this season. When there’s already a jungler in my team I’ll run Exp lane. I like to throw my minions at the enemy to get a sneaky stun and aoe dmg hit. Also I will throw my minions back to delay enemy leveling. All in all Jawhead my favourite.
Jawhead's a pretty good jungler, I use him in jungle when I want to end the game as soon as possible. Items: Rapid boots (ice retri) Heptaseas Hunter's strike Thunderbelt any def items needed for late game Emblem: Jungle emblem -Increased damage to creeps (Brutal) -Battle spell cd reduction (Knowledge) -Increased damage to objectives (Demon slayer) The playstyle I do is Jungle as fast as possible, gank lanes quickly, and become a tank if its the 20 minute mark. The Jungle emblem and Jawhead's first skill kills creeps quickly and because of rapid boots, ice retri, and hunter's strike's passive, Jawhead's fast and with thunderbelt he slows down enemies while doing true damage.
I like using jawhead for his role flexibility especially during early to midgame. Jungling, clearing lanes, zoning, tanking. You can even squish a couple as well with petrify equipped.
Buffs that may make jawhead better Good buffs 1st skill missiles to focus on targeted enemy with your setting/hero lock instead of random. The mechanic of 2nd skill. Able to launch target at the same spot when spam clicked/not aimed tap. Op buffs 1st skill missiles dealing explosive damage, applying half the effect of passive's to anything nearby the target. 2nd skill requirement to throw enemy. Instead of them needing to stay fully inside jawhead's hitbox, as long as a bit of their hitbox hit jawhead's they can be thrown. Movement speed buff after using ult, the longer jawhead's takes to reach the target the more movement speed he gets(unnecessary buff)
This season jaw has helped me push solo rank to glory, alot of people underestimate his capabilities, jungle and exp are his 2 best roles tank is good too. Some tips for jaw is when engaging any enemy head on its best to activate 2nd and first skill then ultimate, activate knock up with skill 2 after ur ultimate hits and then burst with ur first skill any hero not a tank will be dead in secs or down to no health! When going exp I think petrify Is the best spell..helps you lock your hopeless enemies in a deadly barrage! Learn to use bushes to ambush with 1 and 2nd skill when you don't have ultimate you'd be surprised how easy you can stack kills!
Full Tank jawhead is the recommended route for me to go, although he can be an assassin even before the buffs but that would make him very difficult to play in a teamfight due to his lower hp
He can really burst down enemies fast but it is usually your teammates who can't keep up. So you'll end carrying the whole game like 1v5 , then defeat.
He became a worthwhile pick the moment he was buffed about a month ago. I've started using as soon as the update dropped. But for some reason, the MLBB player base are too slow to figure things out. Even with this update, Khaleed has become so good along with Minotaur, Lesley and Luo Yi. While Kaja still feels like he's missing something. But like always, the player base is sleeping on the update.
I love Jawhead this season! I dominate every game I use him (only exp. lane and jungle, haven't tried roamer, but I don't like the idea either). I don't win all, cause soloQ, but still, he's a monster! You just need to play him as a one-shot hero, as even with a hybrid build, he ain't a Thamuz, or Terizla and is easy to burst. Favorite combo is 2-1-3-2, and that even clears tanks when you have enough gold advantage. Just know you are a sitting duck right after this combo. The only problematic enemy I've noticed so far is Lance with fast fingers, other than that - just don't dive head-first into multiple enemies and farm constantly - gold crab takes seconds when you're the exp. laner, not gonna talk about creeps when jungling (nom, nom, nom)
Jawhead can burst down any enemies even if it's one on one between him and the target because his passive and his 1st skill are very useful to maximize the potential damage.
Yeah, Jawhead's jungle is absolutely beast right now. He can clear jungle camps so fast and can invade enemy camp. He's the reason why I got win streak going up to Mythic 1.
I feel like when you use jaw as a side you are very good in the early to mid but as it goes to late game it gets hard as it is hard to kill as everyone is with someone else.
Jawhead's starlight is really cute! I've been waiting that skin to resale but unfortunately it'll be next month. I was planning to get Vexana's starlight. Guess I'll have to wait again next year. 😔
What's good about Jawhead is he can give you an awkward feeling about your positioning. At teamfight, he can break the teams positioning, he has an airborne and stun in just 1 skill. An aoe damage and aoe is great for teamfight. He's a packaged hero
I think a tank jungle jawhead would also work, you’re gonna be the center of attention when ulting on their backlines, then throw them to your allies, and you can eat up the dmg and get out safely. Just like how we’re seeing most new junglers in MPL as tanks xd
Bcoz jawhead is like an initiator, support, lookout, annoying or damage type of fighter that'a why he is just a normal picked hero. He does not have the sustain of other meta fighters. A balanced hero.
My dad has been using jungle Jawhead for 3+ seasons now XD He loves countering enemy junglers as much as he can. Dude relishes in chasing down Fanny users and giving them JHphobia, or ambushing super strong enemy Paquitos and mages. He’s having lots of fun in this patch bc of the Floryn buff that can make him so much stronger. Maybe I should record one of his matches and edit into highlights to study his gameplay.
I'm just curious as to when this game is going to implement the new emblems. That info has been out for a min & yet anything I see about this game since I've switched to Wild Rift is nothing but nerfs/buffs & skins.
I play jaw roam with high and dry with 1 damage item and it's so fun. I just walk around ganking every lane, his early game is just nuts. I don't even need the mage or jungler sometimes so it's mostly a snowball match for us
Maybe no one knew about this and I wish no one will, he can already 1 shot at level 2 as long as there are no interuptions with his skill 1 and its fully aimed at only single target, I just started using him this past yesterday
He very strong damage and he easily beat anyone in exp lane just skill 1 only and may reason he not popular because he just lock hero and not high mobility like chao i guees
Last season and this season I always use Jawhead as jungler to help may friends rank up using my smurf accounts. We were winstreak, I used him as tank/support before but after the revamped last season I used him again but not as support/tank.
Problem with jaw head is late game in solo Que you need good teammates to support in late but most of the time you don't get good teammates the lower ranks
Recently I used Jawhead when I fought against Fanny. Fanny was pretty good, but Jawhead literally gave her so much trouble. So now Jawhead is my go to hero when playing Fanny.
A little tip! Jh at the time’s biggest weakness is Esmeralda. She’s one of the few people you can’t really 1v1 even when you’re ahead in levels. He absolutely decimates most other enemies tho (with the exception of super tanky people and Aldous I guess) Also he’s a good person for split pushing bc he can run away with S2 if needed. That and he can just kill whoever’s trying to def if it’s one person.
So far, only MPL Indonesia & Malaysia have used Jawhead as a jungle with a semi tank build. Hoping to see more of him in the jungle role soon :)
I use JH as a jungler, tank, offlane or sometimes as support.
