Somebody could run onstage, tackle Steve Gadd, and he would still be unwaveringly solid in the pocket of whatever he was playing. He's unflappable beyond words, still to this day. Truly one of the very best ever.
What a crew, Man! in this world full of techno musicians BS, it is always inspiring to see and hear THE REAL DEAL musicians. Thank You Steve for Bringing the crew. Michal, Jimmy, Larry.
Nice to hear that friend,he is the biggest inspired for my drumming. The first time i see him on eric clapton live at hyde park,i hate steve gadd, but now i realize that i was wrong.Sorry, maybe my grammar bad,but so far,do you understand what im talkin?
6 years ago, could’ve been today. Love me some Mr. Gadd! Fav drrummah all time! I love playing with these sticks in my beat lab! Made in Maine btw! Drive by the factory all the time. Just the best!
When the snare drum dit the woop sound, I felt that. Man at first I thought the song was going to stay stuck forever but man they dit it,Larry holdings started the launch and then gadd landed us on the moon.
Steve Gadd is the Man, as much as I like Zildjian Cymbals I have to as a drummer seek my own sound and not copy others, Im building my kit with Paiste Cymbals, I hope and pray Ive made the right choice.
Awesome! When I worked as a PA filming Sinatra's last studio album, LA Is My Lady, in 1984 and saw that Steve would be drumming I thought, he's rock drummer having only known him through his Paul Simon days. Wow was I wrong! The guy can play anything.
I love that that's basically James Taylor's recent touring band, minus James Taylor. Steve Gadd, Jimmy Johnson, Michael Landau, Walt Fowler, Larry Goldings. The whole band played on Taylor's last album, "Before This World." What an interesting about face in style.
Total unity from this band it’s not five different guys it’s one incredible band playing like one person different limbs very hard to explain listen to the interplay
Just heard about Neil Peart passing away and i inmediately thought about Steve Gadd, i know he's older and no one lives forever, but man i've learned a lot with Gadd, how silence can be way more powerful and musical than any other sound in the right moment... Wish i can see him live before he leaves :(
Somebody could run onstage, tackle Steve Gadd, and he would still be unwaveringly solid in the pocket of whatever he was playing. He's unflappable beyond words, still to this day. Truly one of the very best ever.
And again in a mysterious way Steve 'Gadds' his old stuff and makes it sound brand new.
Steve Gadd is such an inspiration, he really gets in the pocket of a groove.
DAMN!!!! GADD is the ultimate groove master! especially during the organ solo… the groove is KILLING!!!!!!!!!

The master of the Groove!!
Steve knows how to groove and drive the band! Love it!
This was my first exposure to this band, VERY enjoyable listening experience and wonderful to witness musicians of this caliber 😉👍🙏
This stays with me throughout my day, and I'm feelin' way back home, yeah.
This is a thing of absolute beauty .. Thank you to these incredible musicians.
The floor toms at the end of the horn solo are golden.
Jimmy, killing it as usual, as he has for over the last three decades.
Amazing how he builds the groove: Lots of patience and humility, yet power and grace too.
Anytime Mr Steve Gadd is at the helm, you are guaranteed a cosmic inspiration & masterclass in playing for the song & always building w/the band

Gadd never disappoints...
He's doing the job right, groovin and staying in the pocket. All of his fills are just right where they need to be.
Oh my gadd, my master's drum's couldn't have sounded better here. Absolute MASTERFUL as usual!
Every drummer should be made to listen to Mr. Gadd. Solos aren't about hitting every drum, it's about doing something different!

Aside from the drums..... beautiful transition between bass, guitar, organ....
Incredible group of players! Saw Michael Landau at a private venue north of Barrie, ON. killer guitar player!
it was so cool having him back in his hometown of Rochester, NY, at the Eastman Theatre, part of the Eastman School of Music where he got his degree.
Really really beautiful, i love this song
They are top musicians.they are capel to listen to each others. Steve Gadd on drum(phenomimal)
