Since I set up a 60 gal in my office, I often find myself distracted from vids. Yours don't suffer from that at all.
And the 2000 gal has turned into the ultimate aspirational tank. The set up is like what we've got at home (at least average hobbyists) just 100x bigger. I love it.

Explaining each fish is so nice because it gives us a heck of a lot better idea of what we are getting into especially if we are new or don't even have an aquarium yet. Knowing more about the fish before buying is so crucial because there is a lot that goes into fish keeping.
I've watched you for years... I fully admit... I absolutely believe that the 2000 community is the most beautiful tank you have ever kept!! I love the mass diversity and interactions they have. There is always so much to see and so much activity!!

Oh man I just love looking at this aquarium. I built a 700 gallon koi pond based off of how you build your plywood tanks with a bit more sturdiness for the outside. Its been amazing, thank you!

This is 100% my favourite video format you've played around with. I love the info dumps, it was the diy info 5 years ago that got me hooked, you and a few other channels were my go to for information when I first started out in the hobby, now after multiples tanks, breeding live bearers and egg layers I still enjoy your content and learning something new, that's why I'm still here enjoying your vids!
p.s I'd love to see you do brackish water tanks, it seems to me that brackish water setups are kind of niche and rare, I'd love to see your down to earth take on setup, stocking and maintenance along with showing how a brackish water setup can evolve over time(like a few years).

Been watching your videos on and off for about 6 years now. Last thing I remember is your 2000 gallon having a few rays and arowana but this new mix of fish is way cooler. I absolutely love the mix of fish in there.

Don't usually comment but I thoroughly enjoyed this style. It seems like you enjoyed describing the fish and their behaviors I think that's what it's all about right? I just love this aquarium, this is the best use of this massive creation so far! I have thought since the construction this would be spectacular as a community aquarium. It's so big and teaming with life, would love to see it in person!!!

Love this type of vidieo. Its nice to learn about the different fish. Most fist stores i go into just has some kid whos just doing a job and can't really tell you about the fish or requirements so yes please keep them comming

I've got to be honest I loved the 2k with the rays, arowana and Susan but this has to be my favorite tank of yours it's just beautiful
Convict Cichlids got me into this hobby! Very entertaining fish. They breed like rabbits and are very good parents. They have no problem taking on fish 10 times their own size in order to protect their fry. I haven't had any in years but definitely one of my all time favorites. Would love to see you add some in the new gallery. They would make a great introductory fish to people who visit the gallery who aren't addicted "yet".

Great selection of fish in the 2000. Love the Severums & Uarus. I kept many central and South American cichlids before I got into saltwater. As far as convicts go they are pretty in breeding colors but they are so prolific and before you know what you will have so many in there. The tank looks great Joey
I love Convict cichlids as well. Their breeding color is fantastic. Another sleeper is the Firemouth!
This is my favourite tank. Shame about the tetras always wondered what happened to them.

Great video. It's a shame this tank can't be moved to the new gallery - it's wonderful. I loved it with the arowana & the rays, but it's really come to life as a community tank. Everyone has enough room to move around and find their comfort zones, and the mix of fish looks so good. I really enjoyed this style of video. We had enough time to really look at the fish and watch what they were doing, and you were much more relaxed doing the voice-over instead of trying to cram as much as possible in. I'd love to see more of this style.
Honestly, whatever you put out is fine. It's always a grand time watching your videos. No matter the length, it shall be watched.

I agree on Convict Cichlids. That was the first Cichlid I ever bred - either that or Rainbow Cichlids also from Central America. Both would do well in the gallery and interaction would be interesting. Your Angels look much brighter than any I ever had. That might be lighting or it could be my memory since it has been 40+ years since I have had a tank.
