Drive to Kabini and Brindavan Garden|Ford Freestyle|Jungle Safari|Leopard & wild dog sighting

Visiting Kabini was a long time dream of mine, due to budget I was keep on postponing it, finally the day has arrived and I am off to Kabini in Ford Freestyle. To keep the trip in a relaxed manner , I have planned to spend a day in Mysuru so that I won't be stretching too much to drive to Kabini which is around 550 Kms from Chennai and also I can reach Kabini River Lodge on time as it's a 2 hour drive from Mysuru to keep up with their daily program schedule. The plan went well, I was satisfied with the stay in Mayura Cauvery which is inside Brindavan Garden as I was able to quickly walk into the garden, relax there and come back late to the room . After reaching Kabini to our luck we have spotted Leopards twice and 7 packs of wild dogs. It's rare to sight wild animals in Boat safari, but for us it was reverse. We spotted a leopard during our Jeep safari and again a leopard & 7 packs of Wild dogs during our Boat safari.
