Wow, what a coincidence. I actually currently have the new Daiwa Bg 8000! Got from tackle direct, saw the specs and thought it was an unreal deal. Was supposed to test it on some shark, but the waves were too choppy for me to kayak the bait out sadly, thank you anyway man keep up the vids!
Quantum Boca reel? Never used Quantum but seeing that smooth drag makes me want one. Would you recommend the 80 for big game like small sharks or go with a bigger size?

It's a decent reel, not my favorite. The new Daiwa Black and Gold is much better.
