I am mainly a spinner and knit to use my handspun yarns. I love the way you jump right into handspun knitting projects even when you are unsure of your yardage and your knitted items are always so inspiring! Thank you for sharing!
Hi Cia , Thank you again for your always enjoyable podcast! Love your new makes 😊. I enjoy knitting, spinning on my wheels and sewing. Happy crafting from the west coast of Canada.
Hi Cia. From northeastern United States. I LOVE your podcast each month. I spin on a drop spindle as well as in my wheels. I have both treadle and electric wheels. I love to knit sweaters from my handspun I also crochet doilies from cotton thread. Keep up your lovely podcasts ❤️❤️
I was 100% a knitter, then I joined a fiber arts guild and they expanded my horizons! I now love to spin (on a wheel), but also love to purchase raw fleece and do all the cleaning and preparation for spinning. I'm a beginning weaver and natural dyer as well. Thank you for all you share and do - truly inspiring.
I think the green is lovely near your face, Cia! I love knitting, and I also spin, crochet, and do some paper crafting, cross-stitch, embroidery, and needle felting. 🧶😃
Hello! I’ve been an active seamstress since my teen years. I sew garments, quilts, and household items. My knitting skills really advanced over the last five years. I enjoy watching and learning about your projects!
I started spinning on a Turkish spindle just over two years ago and purchased my first wheel this past summer. You actually inspired me to start with the Turkish spindle. I loved it and I am really loving my wheel now as well ❤
I try to dabble in weaving, spinning, quilting, embroidery, cross stitch, sewing….etc…etc…have knitted since childhood but learnt to spin a few years ago and it changed my knitting experience ten fold…the things I have learnt from amazing podcasters like yourself has enhanced my craftsmanship in all my hobbies.🙏❤️🇦🇺
I like to sew my own clothes, crochet and embroider. I have a drop spindle and would like to learn to spin and quilt also. I’ve also been trying to learn to knit but I am having a lot of trouble with my tension. All of your knitting projects are so beautiful and I enjoy each episode. Have a great day and I look forward to seeing you next month.🧶🧵🪡😄
Spinning is my first love and a spinning wheel was affordable. Then I bought my Swedish loom and did not want to use my bits and pieces of handspun because I couldn't bear to waste a single inch of handspun. After my children grew up I went back to spinning full speed ahead and ended up with so much yarn that I learned to knit. Now I have a Rigid Heddle loom, a flat bed knitting machine, a triangle loom- so many projects! I am slow but speed and production are not my goals- just the joy of creating.😊
Dear Cia, I'm a spinner who does others crafts . I do spin for projects I intend to do but this can be quite challenging, mainly because normally are big projects and it can take more than one year to have the final object. I do also some spin just for fun or to calm down. I so grateful that I'm able to craft with my hands. I wish you a wonderful November. Teresa
I am a spinner, mostly on a spinning wheel. I only spin with natural wools, undyed and minimal processed. I don't mind to spin 1 kg of the same natural colour of fibres, I dye my yarns with plants. and I only spin with a project in mind. so most of the time it is : spin, dye, knit. of course I have leftovers, those I use for smaller projects. so, we are quiet different types of handspinners. I am also a lover of plantfibres that I can process myself from plants from my garden or local area. I proces fibres from willow, nettle, willowherb, bullrush (typha latifollia) and others. I spin these fibres and weave the yarns. a little advice about your leftovers on bobbins : why not try andean plying? I have never leftovers of single-spun yarns. I love your podcast, thanks for sharing your crafty adventures! greetings from belgium
Always enjoy visiting with you and see your beautiful knits. I am most passionate about knitting, but I do some sewing, machine embroidery, hand embroidery, crochet, some painting. I retired from a full time job of Custom Stained Glass. So I still do some glass work. When I started knitting, I found that all the colors made me happy like my stained glass! I had to retire because my hands were not happy with the work! But I can knit all I want! Thank God!
My 2 favorite things to do in addition to knitting are spinning and sewing. Right now I'm doing more sewing, as I am working on projects for Christmas presents. I love to see what you are working on. I really enjoy seeing your things you make with your handspun yarns. When I spin I use drop and Turkish spindles and spinning wheel. I do finer yarn with the spindles than I do with the wheel.
I’m a beginner spinner. I have only used supported spindles. I am happy with my yarn so far. I haven’t knit a project with it yet. But spinning is very addictive. I am very surprised at how much yarn you can make just with some relaxing spinning. Right now I am casting on my second Rannuculus. It’ll be a gift for my mom. I love to hear and learn about your spinning. I think it is partly what gave me the courage to try it. Spindle spinning seemed to come very easily after watching your videos. Thanks LeeAnn ❤
Hi Cia, I have tried a lot of different crafts but mostly knitting and quilting. Now I am trying spinning, both on a wheel and a drop spindle. But I don’t use my hand spun yarn for my knitting projects, I used bought yarn for them. My aim is to use my hand spun, not just spin it and put it away. We’ll see how that goes.
You jumper with you handspun yarn is amazing. If you are still feel bothered about the light green stripe, you could duplicate stitch something on it with the other colours
Hello Cia. Great podcast again. Loving that shade of green on you. I can see your spinning wheels behind you. Can you introduce us to them and show them to us please? Always curious about people's wheels xx
Your new brown jumper is great. I'm hoping you will run out of the dark brown wool so that I can see what you come up with to finish it !! Knitting & cross stitching are my main crafts with a bit of patchwork from time to time. I find that cross stitching is the most relaxing.

Hi Cia!! Thank you for sharing your projects! I like to dabble in weaving and spinning on a wheel, but as you indicated, time is limited.
Sounds like you got good crafting going on 🥰

Hi Cia, I also spin and knit. I think you are so creative, and brave in using your handspun yarn, even if you have to play yarn chicken sometimes!
Thank you 🥰 I have to give it a go

Thank you 🙏🏻 i have started that an might continue if i feel stressen about the green 😂
I've tried a little spinning on a drop spindle, and I might enjoy supported spindle more. But really all I want to do is knit!
Knitting is just enough if it makes you happy 🥰
Hello Cia. Great podcast again. Loving that shade of green on you.
I can see your spinning wheels behind you. Can you introduce us to them and show them to us please? Always curious about people's wheels xx
Thank you 🙏🏻 they are old Swedish wheels. I might show them sometime 🥰
I like to bake sourdough bread and experiment with new recipes!

Well i guess that would be intresting to come up with something 🥰
Hi Cia, I've just become a Patreon supporter. Are the Patreon patterns available on the app or are they somewhere else?
Thank you so much 🙏🏻 There is a tag for patterns where you can find all patterns.
