I think a fun change to the drunk would be to switch other people's player models as either random things or they get switched around, just to really play up being highly intoxicated
This idea, using models like the art in the thumbnail. I know that'd need a set of custom models, but the idea of Ben just being a walking blue barrel to the drunk is too funny for me.
Idea for two shadow variations: The Pickpocket (can syphon items off of traitors or the detective by staying closeby) and the Bodyguard (has 150 health while staying close to their target, if the target gets shot while bodyguard is close, the first 50 damage they would take gets taken off the Bodyguard's health instead)
100%. The Shadow role as it currently is just doesn't work. Ben said it was to help hide informants, but doesn't do a good job of it - informant wants to go around detecting multiple players and shadow only wants to follow one. And most of the time the Shadow player just dies, usually because whoever they're following realizes they are the shadow and just runs away to troll them. So far it has only been really funny maybe a third of the time its been in effect so far, and usually because of an added randomat effect causing havoc like the pinball or role clone/swapping one. Most of the time it has done very little and just hasn't been entertaining. I like the idea of the Shadow providing a bodyguard style defensive buff on whoever they follow around. Maybe just a flat 50% damage reduction as long as they're in range of their target. The Pickpocket sounds much more entertaining as a jester role. Keep the ability to steal items from players (make it any player just to be complete troll), and i'd also make it so the role can loot credits from dead bodies too, just to deny it to detectives/traitors. I'd actually prefer it as a replacement of the loot goblin.
@@CuriousMoth Yeah, its purpose is to provide an alibi for the informant, but they kinda forgot to have anything good for the role itself. That's its problem, It exists solely to benefit another role.

They should change the shadow slightly. where the timer cant start until your in the range of the person for the first time IE so at start of round, the shadow wont die just cause its a big map or something
I GUARANTEE you that if you switched roles at the start Duncan would be (justifiably) whinging about being shot after dropping a free kill gun/being killed for what Ped did
I have to ask given how hype they get everytime they use the 360 gun, but isn't it just 100% accurate so is just easier to hit with than any other gun?
Because that's the entire reason why a "noscope" is a "hype" moment in games, because they have massive inacuracy when unscoped in most games. Without inacuracy it's no different from hitting with literally any other gun,
You also have to do a 360 with it, which makes aiming with it require more skill since you have to be really accurate with your mouse really fast, though tbf it is lame how they buffed how much time you get with this version of it to pull of a 360
@@LeeSpork I missed any episodes with the shorter time version, but this one just seems kinda broken and easy to use, like you can keep it at a perma one shot with a little bit of micro managing, basically a golden gun with more bullets in trade for occasionally having to turn around.
Gee I wonder why only Lewis is affected by the everyone being props randomat. It couldn't have anything to do with the time he mistook a chair for Rythian, could it?
Shadow should slowly lose health (and/or maybe like do no damage to enable some jester hijinks) instead of instantly dying when too far from the followed person.

I really like the idea of swapping player models of people seen by the drunk.
