I have to agree with poster who talked of why her career had gone off course: allowing an artist to grow and express themselves is a wonderful thing, but flipside is that there also comes a time to "pay the bills"!!! I have seen Olivia few times live, and she still has great voice, so I also don't get why her management didn't encourage more commercial work for her. The last..pure "pop" album (barring greatest hits stuff) came out in..1988??? 25 years ago!! wow!!
This kicks some serious ass!! Olivia was at her ultimate best here. This only shows how much she had evolved and grown from her "Grease" days. She was totally white hot. Give me your thoughts if you'd like.
