It's too bad there isn't a compromise option like "You can be at wider FOV if you lock your camera all game" or something. It would be really cool to play a wider FOV just to see the edges of longer-range skill shots and not have to constantly move the camera to play the game.
@@milangpo8615Semilocked has its limits too. Teamfights at the edge of your screen, long range ults, etc. Even being completely comfortable using it I do find myself feeling like the game is zoomed in too much sometimes.
If they change this then they will have to change the entire spaghetti code and add another $200 skin for repairs, But let's be considerate of the indie company

I am so goddamn sure this bug is getting fixed within a month but his Q locking onto one spot won't even be acknowledged even though it's been known since release of his CGU and whenever it happens, you're unable to participate in a teamfight :)
I actually used to do this bug in Arena, I change the graphic settings just before the fov lowers down before the round starts, though sometimes the FOV changes when returning to "Home" for augments and items and I will have to change graphics again.
what about Pantheon's ult? Jhin and Xerath's ult change the FOV back based on when u fired the last shot but Pantheon's ult is similar to Asol w where it ends after a duration.
The same thing can be done with Nunu's W but this effect will stay and can even stack (last time I have tried was a few patches ago). Btw. using Nunu's W locks your camera automatically but this can be avoided by pressing Space at the perfect moment. It's quite hard to pull it off but I have been able to use it a couple of times (same thing can also be archived with a freeze).

People are stupid. They fail to acknowledge that the FoV is as it is and it's locked for a reason. This game is very skill-based and one of those skills is having map awareness. Having a very high FoV for everyone would defeat this game design aspect, and hacking it is plain cheating.

You can, just add a custom resolution that is higher than your monitor native one.
Because it means artillery mages won’t be able to one shot you from two screens away because you can react faster.

OH I miss the old days when we could use plugins to zoom out, but not long after, this was considered cheating.
Ahh its the same bug that was in Arena. Happened to me once when I was changing settings mid teleport to the arena where ur zoomed out at the start.

Why adding disclaimer at start? It's obvious, that bug abusing can be banned, it's in TOS.
