How about let the guy fully heal and get over this season. You dont get hurt where he did an pick right back up. Hes getting back his conf, in his heal and have a good off season and he will be back to slap these kids around.

Eli's issues are 90% mental. his confidence isn't back at all. he was so much more talkative and happy last year when he was winning.

Jett is young, when he hits the ground it doesn't hurt as bad when your younger. But when your aged, it hurts more hitting the ground because your not as young as you used to be. I admit crashing sucks an sometimes tracks aren't in your favor in being a soft landing.

It's Eli's first year back... why is everyone expecting him to be a tittle contender. Think about how many other pro's come back after injury. And not only does nobody expect a tittle contention. But nobody Batts a eye when they aren't were they were previously!
The only difference is he was ready to retire previously. The fact he got back on the bike.. kinda shows he isn't quite intrest in retirement yet.

You can only use the injury excuse for so long. Not once does he ever mention anything about his injury holding him back. I personally think he’s not comfortable on the bike.

@@jeremy_beckers no he doesn't mention it. I'm just saying. It's ridiculous to expect him to step right back in like it never happened. Like he is some rare exception. After 25 your body heal slower. You metabolism snd testosterone are effected more by the downtime as well...Like ya he don't complain.. he is stoic but look at how devastating that injury is for most people... most athletes do NOT return after that. who arnt using a 230lb bike like a scalpel.
You can only use thar excuse so long lol. Dude got back on a bike like 6 months ago. I shattered a ankle 3 years ago. I've also broken both wist. A seperate collar bone, a elbow. All of them took years! to eventually never be a good as they were. Your straight delusional pal.

@@dormantmenace”you can only use the injury excuse for so long” (says the NOT pro athlete) 😂 but yeah I agree with you on that man. Dude has no clue what Eli has done just popping back up like that from that.

Eli has already showed his ability before. He is a good rider and a wonderful person, that makes him a winner.

His starts are trash, watch his qualifying lap times, he’s still top 3 fastest guy always. He’s coming back for outdoor title. He’s got a grudge and a chip on his shoulder. He’s excepting SX isn’t happening for him. It’s all good, he’s still great and will be great
