Wao! This is one of the greatest story tellers I have ever watched, she captivated every scene in my mind, from the street fight to the shoe shiner, Ngai!!! ...funny, yet serious life lessons...and the blessing of a praying mother. If you have lived abroad you know how it hurts to be different, and worse to hear your own child wanting to be white.....thankyou so much Renee
True that hannah,am so relating to this coz am bringing up my 3 gorgeous girls in diaspora(2 teens and a tod) ...yes now u see where am coming from ngai !!! 😆 many back home won't understand
Very interesting story Children could be very, very mean spirited. Especially back in those days. My Dear you are so beautiful 😍😍😍you slay keeping slaying you Rock that outfit like no other👌👌👏👏👏✌✌✌❤❤❤
It could be because it is gray and that is the only colour that hides gray hair.😎😎😎Not everyone looks good with gray hair some Folk wears it well others look older.👀👀👀😁✌✌✌❤❤❤
Lol. It actually depends when you catch me. Sometimes it is pink, sometimes red, sometimes black, sometimes, brown.... sometimes shaved off, sometimes in Locs.... African hair rocks!
Husnah i don't think they will call you, maybe you should take the initiative and look for them and i'm sure if you have an inspiring story that will engage people's mind they will give you a chance to tell it. All the best.
I struggled to understand why you linked darkest to ugliest. But, I am in no way judging your experiences. Sorry you had to live through racism and thanks for sharing.
Yes she speaks well and is very engaging but something didn't sit right with the reference of the "blackest" being connected with the "ugliest" there is no connection whatsoever..
You're wrong not only to mention her here but also to compare her to Renee Ngamau especially when the topic of discussion is about letting people be the best the can be. Such a shame.
Since azziad talk I have started to watch engage talks and they are really inspiring
Thank you. Keep watching and sharing
There's a lady who has impacted soo much in my life. Then it's this amazing lady Renee Ngamau
Ngai 😳; I could be all ears , you speak so blissfully and we muthaka biu.

The reason why we should build our country and forget about going to other people's country.
Erastus macharia I know
Yep! 5'11" tall girl here and you have preached the truth. I am more than my height, I didn't choose my height, yet people only see the height...
I could listen to you all day....😃😃
You spoke to me. Today Ngamau you saved my life
Parents, teach your children your culture, and language. It really helps especially in diaspora.
I'm so interested in wìrute gùthoma gìkùyù for my children they are trying to read kikuyu
Black is excellent and beautiful🌍🔝
And till now you are beautiful... As in in and out... Waoh
Captivating is the word. Only if you can give us the interpretations of the kikuyu phrases
Wow!
''maybe you have been fighting an illusion''
great and inspiring story..I'm influenced & informed
Ooh my days😂😂😂 ibuku ria Ngai ni riega🙌 na kwiruta guthoma 😂😂
There was one I remember, Kwiruta Guthoma Gikuyu Kiega Ibuku ria Mbere..... lol.. we are old😃
Gaiiiiiii!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ love it
Very inspiring! Would love to meet you
is this the reason as to why she still colors her hair white? just thinking...
shema vieira it crossed my mind too 😔
It could be because it is gray and that is the only colour that hides gray hair.😎😎😎Not everyone looks good with gray hair some Folk wears it well others look older.👀👀👀😁✌✌✌❤❤❤

Sweet one.
🌹🌹🌹 thank you for this
what is the point shes trying to make?
I struggled to understand why you linked darkest to ugliest. But, I am in no way judging your experiences. Sorry you had to live through racism and thanks for sharing.
What of those who are actually the blackest?
Yes she speaks well and is very engaging but something didn't sit right with the reference of the "blackest" being connected with the "ugliest" there is no connection whatsoever..
My same thought! That's the point she pissed on her talk. So there is something wrong with those who are blacker than her?
💜
You just need to have a western world accent to be speaker!
Ngai fafa!
What the hell is a blue bottle flie
A breed of flies that is usually blue in color.
Those big fat blue flies you find near a loo
?
So she equates black to ugly?
Caroline Mutoko normally imagines this is her childhood, hence her imaginary accent 🙄🙄
You're wrong not only to mention her here but also to compare her to Renee Ngamau especially when the topic of discussion is about letting people be the best the can be. Such a shame.
Carol interacted with the British alot in her childhood, her parents worked for them
