I think Lolo was outstanding today and was underrated today. He cleaned everything up, turned his man, moved the ball effectively and looked so good off the ball.
The defensive set-up looks so much better as well. We only conceded 2 shots on target today too.
I also don't think Werner was as bad as people said until the final action.
If Timo could finish his dinner he’d be really good. Bentancur almost back to being the midfielder before injury when he was our best player. For me Solanke again was underrated. Does a lot of little things

Werner was good when pressing and attacking, just the final product isn’t there because his confidence is so low atm

Bents has been quietly getting better for a while (it's a real shame about the cultural Sonny misunderstanding, which might see a ban) and growing back into his very best form, I'd say he could be the fulcrum of this team (or one of them!) for a good few years. Time for Biss to step up and show the same when he gets his chance! I didn't see the game but Ange backed Brennan and look at him now since recent events! And I thought Werner had shots on their way into the net but very luckily blocked by the goalie (lucky shoulder?) and a defender? That along with his workrate and runs (which scare teams, even if he hasn't found his finishing boots yet) on top of everything else is more than enough for me. Very happy tonight!

Actually, some of the best analysis of the Tottenham performance I've seen on this match. Well done.
I haven't seen many players who can shield the ball as well as Deki, it's a hard job to shake him off the ball. Great control, physicality and work-rate combined with a sharp football brain make him a formidable player and a great influence on the team.
There was a few exchanges where his first touch just looked like a magnet strapped to his foot. He’s so good centrally because of the holdup, the touch, and the ability to both fit in a final ball or finish himself.
I go to Expressions for pure entertainment and Alice for stats and in-depth analysis..

The Ange out was coming from unknowledgeable fans tbh. I agree there have been strong signs of what we are capable of. Its been the fwd line that has not been putting in the performances. Once we start actually creating chances for Solanke for him to put away I think we shall be near where Ange wants to take us. Then its a question of players either raising their level or for better quality players to come in over the course of future windows.

Max respect for doing this so soon after that performance & loss. I feel a little bad for saying it but I think we (Spurs) could have had a much higher goal count as there was still a lot of missed opportunities which is a running theme. I love Ange ball but his style means I still felt tense after we hit 2 in but I don't mind that; I'll take edge of the seat football over parking the bus any day.
I get that united didn't play well but spurs gave them no option to play any other way.

I woke up this morning (in Sydney) , watched the extended highlights and then my first thought was, "How is Alice feeling and what will she say about the game." I do worry about the sheer number of chances that Tottenham create but don't take. How do they become more clinical in front of goal?
Short answer, Sonny on the field. Copijm answer, form. Longer answer, we’re creating so many chances that we’ll be able to win games even without being clinical, and if we ever turn that corner with form, signings, availability, developing younger players, etc. then we’ll be putting up man city type numbers pretty much immediately.

Alice I think the BBC live updates said the most ever chances created at Old Trafford for an away team PLAYER was SIX in 2012 or so possibly, (and sorry can't remember who it was but think it may have been a Liverpool or Arsenal player). Dear Alice, I'm so sad seeing you stressed out. We love you very much and thanks alot for the football analysis for my team Liverpool FC. When it comes to ManU I honestly don't think even sacking Ten Hag will lead to any solutions. Yes! ManU has been in the same situation of lows even under VanGaal, Mourinho, Ole, Ragnick. Ten Hag is not simply the problem. All those coaches are good but failed by the time they were axed by ManU. For me it's the players on the pitch simply failing to deliver. So whether you get Guardiola or Ancelloti or Tuchel, they can't fix ManU with the Rashfords and Maguires of this world. United need patience for a good ten years, keep rebuilding the squad. I swear there is no easy fix to ManU. If people think sacking Ten Hag is the solution, I pity them. Remember what Ragnick said before the sack, what about Mourinho? Cheers Alice!

Ange's player ID for his system is key... at some point Werner will turn - he contributed well today despite his finishing. Moore will play in cups to warm him up further - suspect he will garner a start to boost his confidence. Ange won't dump him into an EPL start / difficult position for fear of him being harassed if he makes a mistake

I'm a LFC fan but wtf was fernandes doing tackling like that. I've said all along I don't know why Man utd fan's get so excited signing all these new players it's the way the club is being run that's the problem. The signings we're just to keep the fan's happy and distract them from the real problems. You need togetherness you need to build a trust from inside the club all the way through to the fans. It took Liverpool 20 years to realise this after their heydays... they've got a family atmosphere everywhere through the club it's staff it's community's and they embrace their players and build a connection with everyone involved with the club. All i see at man utd is distrust, division and bad vibes. You only had that when you were successful Liverpool has had that for a good 15 years now and you can't see that changing. Whether they've had bad seasons or good seasons it's the same energy.
