In these times of trouble, it is very powerful to read and hear again, these verses that promise us life. I came to Jesus in 83, having returned from our deployment to Beirut the previous year. We are entering a similar time of trouble, doubled down from the previous troubles we've failed to change our ways. I was deeply troubled then, and more so, today. We, the US, should not be trying to rule God's world. I fear the consequences of our Nation's actions, and the evil we've unleashed on the world these past decades.

I never really know what to do anymore. Once I was a christian, but i was young, and seeing all the hypocrisy and state of the church i was in as well as the viciousness of the people proclaiming to be god made me doubt that. Then when I questioned who I was, and desired to seek that out, scorn, resentment, and threats from people of the same that were supposedly meant to love, support, and be the best of people. Then I only saw a selfish corrupt people with only a desire to try to twist me and turn me to them. The world wasnt any nicer to me. Trying to be christian growing up I was never understood. I was alone, hated, and I could not bring myself to commit acts of violence even in my own defense. So I was considered weak. I was tormented by those in my family, and those among my peers. The friends who I did make faded as I moved so often. The major exhaustion, confusion, and frustration I felt as a child feeling the weight and reality of all this at a young age made me resentful of god and christianity as a whole. I couldn't see the light in people because now it always just seemed false. Fake. Even I didnt think of myself highly anymore as I was constantly attacked by every direction. The only people that made me start to be happy, feel loved, and accepted again were the witches. Pagans, Wiccans, Satanists. Growing up they showed me a love that I thought christians were meant to show which no longer was seen by me anymore. So my resentment grew, and I moved to grow closer with these people. Somewhat I still believed in god. At the very least in a creator, but I couldnt bring myself any longer to really side openly like I used to. It was too tiring, and I wanted to be more like those who showed me kindness, and represented kindness. My first true friend and sister was a witch. She was also an artist, and someone who shared in the pain of being put down by her family and peers in a similar way to me. We supported each other, and while her resolve in her spiritual practice grew, mine grew weaker. As no good link existed anymore between others of god and me. Unfortunately I began to grow older. I changed, and my desires i began to pursue to be happy and find peace was starting to grow beyond a rational amount. I began to reject, and I turned to satan as a misunderstood and abused hero in some ironic cosmic game that I also felt a victim to as well. I didnt want to be forced to chose life and death, and I hated feeling cursed to be human. To have these feelings and never fully embrace them. What was the point if only to suffer in what seemed to be a pointless endeavor. I became nihilistic, and I hated man. I hated the world, and would have enjoyed for a long time just watching it burn. But while the darkness in me grew, and my desires went more unchecked, so to did my understanding of man grow. I started to feel empathetic towards those who suffered selflessly to help others. To try to take in the meaning and act of sacrifice, and try to come to terms of how to live in such a world that we do without giving in to desire. My flesh and my spirit were at war. They still are today, and that war has devastated my life. I often find myself torn between sides I dont know which to take. Where I dont feel like I can trust anyone anymore, or do anything anymore. I dont know where to find the answers, or what the right choice to do is anymore. Its all up to me to chose now, and that thought terrifies me because now I know just how badly man can ruin himself with freedom. My desires whether I meant to or not only served to largely isolate, and destroy me more. The people who loved me from these places turned away from me when I no longer was useful, or had become someone they didnt want to be around any longer. It only further drove me into loneliness, and resentment. Yet that resentment largely goes towards me. My inability to conquer myself, or to bring about a positive change. My inability to be enough for others. It has brought me to great hopelessness, despair, grief, and anger. It is a struggle sometimes to even get up anymore. Now I question if I should try to return to a christian teaching, but I worry it wont be any different. That I will continue to suffer regardless of what I do. I just wanted simple feelings and desires that I never really got to have growing up, and now I dont know if I ever will get to experience those things even to a moderate degree. Yet I know that the teachings of satanism, and the pursuit of the self will only lead to destruction as well, as such practice only serves in draining the world for the sake of the few, and leaving the rest to die. While the world then plunges into fire because even then its still not enough for the few. I see it all happening and I know now theres nothing I can do to stop it. I wanted a normal life. I wanted to appreciate the world and live and love without so much of this supernatural battle and such. I hate being caught in the middle of a war I didnt ask for, and not having any choice but to chose who to serve. Sometimes I feel like if I had it my way I would have just been born another creature, or never born at all. If there are so many eternal consequences for living as a man, then i dont see how I ever had the ability to chose wisely. To know what to do. In truth I never wanted to chose. All I know is I just want peace. I want to belong, and I want to be loved. I dont know how to take the video you made. Part of me wants to be hopeful about it, and another part of me is ashamed because i cant even hold my faith to anything i try. I feel like making a bad call of faith is more honorable than constantly changing what you believe in and what your faith is. Yet that is often where I stand. I wonder if it would happen again if i ever even did truly become a christian again.

This was in my feed. What a coincidence. I am a former victim of narcissism and psychopaths. As i seek to heal i have discovered so many people waking up to their abusers or already left this person and are in the process of trying to heal. I never really know what to do anymore. Once I was a christian, but i was young, and seeing all the hypocrisy and state of the church i was in as well as the viciousness of the people proclaiming to be god made me doubt that. Then when I questioned who I was, and desired to seek that out, scorn, resentment, and threats from people of the same that were supposedly meant to love, support, and be the best of people. Then I only saw a selfish corrupt people with only a desire to try to twist me and turn me to them.
The world wasnt any nicer to me. Trying to be christian growing up I was never understood. I was alone, hated, and I could not bring myself to commit acts of violence even in my own defense. So I was considered weak. I was tormented by those in my family, and those among my peers. The friends who I did make faded as I moved so often. The major exhaustion, confusion, and frustration I felt as a child feeling the weight and reality of all this at a young age made me resentful of god and christianity as a whole. I couldn't see the light in people because now it always just seemed false. Fake. Even I didnt think of myself highly anymore as I was constantly attacked by every direction.
The only people that made me start to be happy, feel loved, and accepted again were the witches. Pagans, Wiccans, Satanists. Growing up they showed me a love that I thought christians were meant to show which no longer was seen by me anymore. So my resentment grew, and I moved to grow closer with these people. Somewhat I still believed in god. At the very least in a creator, but I couldnt bring myself any longer to really side openly like I used to. It was too tiring, and I wanted to be more like those who showed me kindness, and represented kindness.
My first true friend and sister was a witch. She was also an artist, and someone who shared in the pain of being put down by her family and peers in a similar way to me. We supported each other, and while her resolve in her spiritual practice grew, mine grew weaker. As no good link existed anymore between others of god and me. Unfortunately I began to grow older. I changed, and my desires i began to pursue to be happy and find peace was starting to grow beyond a rational amount. I began to reject, and I turned to satan as a misunderstood and abused hero in some ironic cosmic game that I also felt a victim to as well. I didnt want to be forced to chose life and death, and I hated feeling cursed to be human. To have these feelings and never fully embrace them. What was the point if only to suffer in what seemed to be a pointless endeavor. I became nihilistic, and I hated man. I hated the world, and would have enjoyed for a long time just watching it burn.
But while the darkness in me grew, and my desires went more unchecked, so to did my understanding of man grow. I started to feel empathetic towards those who suffered selflessly to help others. To try to take in the meaning and act of sacrifice, and try to come to terms of how to live in such a world that we do without giving in to desire. My flesh and my spirit were at war. They still are today, and that war has devastated my life. I often find myself torn between sides I dont know which to take. Where I dont feel like I can trust anyone anymore, or do anything anymore. I dont know where to find the answers, or what the right choice to do is anymore. Its all up to me to chose now, and that thought terrifies me because now I know just how badly man can ruin himself with freedom.
My desires whether I meant to or not only served to largely isolate, and destroy me more. The people who loved me from these places turned away from me when I no longer was useful, or had become someone they didnt want to be around any longer. It only further drove me into loneliness, and resentment. Yet that resentment largely goes towards me. My inability to conquer myself, or to bring about a positive change. My inability to be enough for others. It has brought me to great hopelessness, despair, grief, and anger. It is a struggle sometimes to even get up anymore.
Now I question if I should try to return to a christian teaching, but I worry it wont be any different. That I will continue to suffer regardless of what I do. I just wanted simple feelings and desires that I never really got to have growing up, and now I dont know if I ever will get to experience those things even to a moderate degree. Yet I know that the teachings of satanism, and the pursuit of the self will only lead to destruction as well, as such practice only serves in draining the world for the sake of the few, and leaving the rest to die. While the world then plunges into fire because even then its still not enough for the few. I see it all happening and I know now theres nothing I can do to stop it. I wanted a normal life. I wanted to appreciate the world and live and love without so much of this supernatural battle and such. I hate being caught in the middle of a war I didnt ask for, and not having any choice but to chose who to serve. Sometimes I feel like if I had it my way I would have just been born another creature, or never born at all. If there are so many eternal consequences for living as a man, then i dont see how I ever had the ability to chose wisely. To know what to do. In truth I never wanted to chose. All I know is I just want peace. I want to belong, and I want to be loved.
I dont know how to take the video you made. Part of me wants to be hopeful about it, and another part of me is ashamed because i cant even hold my faith to anything i try. I feel like making a bad call of faith is more honorable than constantly changing what you believe in and what your faith is. Yet that is often where I stand. I wonder if it would happen again if i ever even did truly become a christian again.

This was in my feed. What a coincidence. I am a former victim of narcissism and psychopaths. As i seek to heal i have discovered so many people waking up to their abusers or already left this person and are in the process of trying to heal. I had thought of it... maybe narcissism/psychopathy/ sociopathy/ border line are the modern names for what used to be called Satan. And Jesus stands for the caring souls, who make mistakes, who are often sinners but can learn from wrong behaviors and right the wrongs in their lives. Just thinking
