I think when big in Japan is on you can hear techno t dunno if there was. Fuck up up with sound system that night but it's good clean mixing from cross-fade well ahead of the times even people in the monkey where not as good as him or up to his standard
@@DJTrippleB likely that you can hear the mc through the turn table needles. sometimes tape decks were put in the dj booth for personal use, this tape may of been recorded deck side rather than stage side. What is strange is I have another cross fade tape from the same tape with mcs on, will have to check if the sets are different or not
this other tape is the offical tape and has the mcs on, starts the set with flowed on a vibe with techno-t b2b with g-force, g-forces mic for some reason is not coming through on the tape and based on what techno-t is saying attack is also swapping mic with g-force, then techno-t signs off and g-forces mic comes through on the tape and goes b2b with attack, and they start from the can can party which is the start of this tape and the next tune is the same, so there is half a tape before this tape starts, but this must have half a tape after the other finishes. so I reckon this is crossfades percy copy and the other is from stage side where the sound system and proper tape deck was.
actually sounds like the sides are the wrong way around as the sides change over to mid way through flowed on a vibe, so they are just 2 different recordings of the same set, yours is from the djs side and likley crossfades personal copy, and the other is the stage side version which was sold as a proper tape with mcs on, nice find, tapes like this are probs pretty rare
@@djrobst I have actually heard this set with MCs on , it's probably the only explanation that its crossfades personal recording from the DJ side which I didn't no they did I love this tape it always proves how good crossfade was and his mixing was clean I dare say he was 17-18 years old ? Don't no meany that age who could mix vinyl as good as him back then and probably today , wounder why he given it up
