Biggie purposely changed his flow for this song after hearing the bone style, and he killed it. But I still think Bizzy had the best verse. The combination of his delivery, lyrics, and energy are unrivaled on this song. There’s lots of interviews with Bone about their time in the studio with Biggie. As far as the lyrics go some parts are wrong but it’s expected. When Bizzy says triple six rivals I believe he’s talking about three six mafia, which they had beef with. When Krayzie says serving them dummies he’s talking about fake crack rocks he would make and sell to the fiends 😂
This never gets old lol it's actually quite impressive how the elements to Bones music can't get old. I get that same euphoria every time. Bones music gives crazy euphoria. It's like food, that never gets old. Yes it's Puffy in the back 😊 best reactions by far, thank you for everything!
After hearing this, I believe these these guys are actually genius -- and not just the lyrics and references, but also the cadence variations, as well as the ability to rap so fast with the timing. Pure genius!
Biggie was so blown away by what they did that he had to take it home and study it. He then wrote to it and kicked everybody out of the studio to record his verse. So the only person that heard him do it was the engineer. My guess is that he punched in a whole lot to pull it off. But that's just my guess. Bizzy recorded his verse in one take and blew P Diddy away
@@Infinite_information615Layzie did two takes, but it was after he was passed out drunk in the limousine outside. He came right in and spit a verse that he had already recorded before. Later, he had to use another verse in that other Art Of War song. On the Prereleased cassette of The Art Of War, you'll hear that same Notorious Thugs verse, but the intonations were a bit different, because the instrumentation called for something different, if you're trying to make your melodic raps harmonize with the sounds in the beat.
Straight Thuggin'! That's good that you caught biggie giving a shout out to "MoThug" dudes. When they recorded the song, biggie was in Cali and Bone got called up. The whole bad boys/ was there, and Bone brought out the whole Mo Thug crew. They were all in the studio together when the song was being recorded. There's a picture flowing around on the net with biggie and bone/ junior mafia/and mo thug squad(dope picture) You should checkout the interview that recent came out about this song. Fat Joe/Steve lobel(bones manager)/ layzie bone and lil Cease all talk about it while being I the studio. It's really well put together interview. Biggie did the Bone flow in this song, he switched his flow, what a honor to Bone. When bone recorded their verses everyone was exited to see biggie on the mic. Biggie was so impressed that he ripped his rap script that he brought from NY, took the song home and studied it. Bone never got to see biggie spit his verse. Biggie died and when life after death came out, that's when Bone heard biggies verse do the bone flow. They were super happy and just grateful. Man, in the interview, there's some cool details. It's worth it, you'll appreciate this song even more. Anyhow, love the reaction man. Keep up the great work. I have a request.. Krayzie Bone- Mo Murder (Mo Thug Scriptures album) its my favorite krayzie bone song. If you're doing the albums, you should do "down foe my thang" and "creepin on ah come up" both songs before eternal E. 1999.
Krayzie is the best bone member in my opinion. He does 90% of the hooks. He has the most clarity in his verses. Remember they all say he's the grandaddy of the bone 🦴 flow. Bizzy is #2 then layzie , wish and flesh
Bizzy is clearly the most talented and Krayzie is my favorite.. but the depth in Bizzy lyrics combined with his harmonies and delivery as powerful as it is separates him..
@@kayujayI heavily disagree. Krayzie is definitely the more talented member. I would Bizzy is more unique given how colorful of a character he is and his notable falsetto voice. You have to take into account that Kray was the mastermind behind pretty much of all their projects with the exception of Resurrection, and that’s because Krayzie was busy with Thug Mentality 1999, which went platinum.
@@danny2571 u gave me no information as to why Krayzie is better as a rapper.. even with majority of their most notable songs the stand out verse most times is Bizzy.. there’s nothing Krayzie does better then Bizzy on the mic.. and again for some reason Krayzie was still my favorite growing up lol
Bizzy is talking about 3-6 Mafia when he says “Triple 6 Rivals” They beefed back in the day. 3-6 mafia = 3 -6 = 666 rivals .3-6 mafia -Tripple Six Rivals There’s a lot to Bizzy Verse from start to end that even with the lyrics some ppl dnt catch the meaning of the actual Bars Amazing! Classic TRACK!!
We’re literally watching you loose your mind and borderline go insane trying to process this greatness 😂🤣😂🤣😂

Dude this song is literally the hardest in all of gangster rap, in all history. How iconic this song is cannot be understated.
Did you catch the Martin Luther King reference? "I beg my pardon to Martin, we ain't marching, we shooting!"
Right 💯
🔥Bizzy lyrics serious in this song and he dissed 3-6 mafia too
