I have to agree with Shane. Both camera's overall are a disappointment for their price tag, however, the Pixel does hold up better and especially digital zooming.
Not gonna lie I actually prefer the Galaxy's photos this time around. Idk why but it seems Google has kinda went overboard with brightening up shadows to the point where scenes end up looking unrealistic. I like that the Galaxy preserves shadows because nothing kills a photo more than terrible contrast
Do I think foldables should have a company's best cameras at the price they charge for the phone? YES! Do I understand that an ultrathin phone may not be able to accommodate said camera? YES Do I think all the US foldable have pretty darn good cameras? ABSOLUTELY I'm not saying a photographer is going to replace their DSLR with a foldable but these are all really good cameras. To me, it's not a reason to avoid foldables. Everyone is different, though.
don't understand why they say the ZFold6's cameras are bad. They are really amazing. They always deal with realism. Cameras that depend on me for photography as a basic phone.
I have to disagree about noise. It'd prefer 1000x to have luminance noise rather than washed out soap because of the aggressive denoising. This gives it a bit more film look rather than highly processed digital photo that just falls apart because of low light. Also this way, it also helps to preserve a little bit more detail.
@@shanecraigtech I'm just talking about the processing, not necessarily differences between phones. If samsung did more aggressive denoising it would look a lot more washed out. If there was some kind of magical slider that could let you adjust amount of denoising, it would be ideal. I agree that Pixel captured better picture, but if you look at the shutter speed - it just captured much more light than Z Fold and you can't deny physics. More light means better noise to signal ratio, means less noise, means more details. I just think that leaving more noise instead of filtering everything looks better overall.
I get what you're saying, but none of this plays out in the real world with these phones. The Pixel captures movement better *and* retains more detail in low light. Samsung just falls apart when the light isn't perfect.

I like my pixel fold 9 but.i think im going to return it and stick with my fold 6 despite much preferring the outer screen on the pixel.
