She was so fine...so very fine. There wasn't a language that was foreign to the voice of Connie Francis. While it is true she was fluent in Italian, Spanish and Yiddish, there was no language she sang in where you didn't "get" exactly what she was singing! She was the most talented artist I've ever known and while there are many who can sit near her...none can ever overtake or replace her. She is one in a million and her place in the stars is assured for eternity.
Connie Francis sings with a lot of feeling and emotion. There are 3 versions of this song by her, this unreleased from the movie, a version released in the UK, and the one from her movie greats of the 60s album
Doctor Music Berlin. Thx for your comment. What I meant was that the film's rendition cut short is the most delightful to hear. Nice orchestral accompaniment . The vinyl version ( full song), nice but in the film better. Cheers
hi, which one do you mean? have you noticed that newest upload here? but it seems to be the same that was available before and not the version from her movie greats of the 60s album, right? DMB
When I sold my 59 Tourquoise and Coral Skyliner to guy named Tony for 18 grand I had but one request. That he play Where the Boys Are with the top down backing out of my dirveway. I felt kinda like the guy on the stretcher listening to him go down the block.
Oh my... Connie Francis' voice is so beautiful here. Her talent is unmatched!
Fantastic movie. Loved this scene when Connie Francis is singing. One of the most beautiful Italian songs there is. 💖💖💖💖
The most moving, tearful, best scene in the movie. I dare you not to be moved
