Hi Dr creepen i am a big fan. I am blind in my left eye so it is hard for me to read. So I really appreciate your wonderful narration. You are my favourite narrater 🤗
I liked this story, alot. Though, I got completely lost the last 20 minutes or so . I feel like I missed some crucial info. Going to have to give this one another listen.
That sounds like truth serum that they say "makes" you tell the truth. Wahaha, I was told after surgery one time to never take it again (to tell them I had a paradoxical reaction) because it made me hyper and not listen. Not going to lie, I was mortified not knowing what I may have done.🤷
Ah, this is a surprise, skipping to this one. But they're all fairly self-contained stories, so that's okay. Great narration as always! I'm actually planning to (finally) get to writing the next story, #9 in the series, fairly soon!
I do not understand the ending. Who recorded the part where they were talking about "getting moving" and that some people were not able to make it into the train? How was this part connected with the story before?
This one has been difficult to follow I’ll admit…so I’m finally finished and am left wanting. It seemed to me that this story could’ve been 1/3rd the length and delivered the same amount of information. So basically a lot of useless dialogue. Doc you as always did a fantastic job with it, and it’s obviously never your fault when a story falls flat, so I truly appreciate all the work and extreme amount of time you put into this and I can only say that I wish it’d been better. So I thank you equally for every piece of work that you bring us, and it’s always a pleasure to get your notifications! Great work! I’m very much looking forward to the next project that you take on as it’s quite the rare event that you’ve ever had two in a row fall flat! So fingers crossed I’m positive that you’re next one will be a home run! 👏👏👏👏👏
Totally agree this one was a complete let down, almost like the writer gave up on writing the ending, slapped whatever that was onto it and called it a day
I hear you... I'm disabled too & it's hard for me to read these days. Audiobooks are fantastic though expensive, UA-cam has become such a great place for me to find high quality stories. This channel has become one of my favourites.!! 👍 👍 👍 If you like vintage science fiction there are a few good channels too, "stories of futes past", "vintage scifi podcast" & "stories from the sky sff" are great channels with almost daily posts.! "Chip Slater's story time" is good too, though he hasn't posted for a while.. Stay safe out there mate & the very best wishes from Scotland 🏴 🙏 ❤️
Only have one comment/complaint.....how does one play a game of pool/billiards on a moving train??? Edit: upon further thought, I also have to question the wisdom of using free weights on a moving train.

For anyone interested, this is more or less the direct prequel and explains some of the backstory: ua-cam.com/video/azwMT5oC9A4/v-deo.html&ab
Do you happen to be familiar with WTYP's episode on armored trains?
Haven't seen it, but the train from Goldeneye was definitely on my mind while writing. @@johannageisel5390
These train stories are always so intriguing to me. Thanks, Doc, you're the best.
Thank you Dr Creepen for the awesome pasta. Excellent story and narration as always. Definitely rocking.🖤🖤🖤🖤

Listened to this last night, and doing it again tonight. Very good story to put one to sleep while trying to visualize the train cars.
