Hey! Sounds like we are in the same area! For our coop we used cinder blocks under the coops perimeter. We dug down to get them all level and then set the coop on them. The doors work good now!
Sounds like a great solution. Thanks for sharing. I'm afraid my sandy land may be too soft for cinder blocks, too, though. Thinking I need a wider base maybe.
