After I passed my test I spent the next two years driving around Sheffield as part of my job, taught me everything I needed to know about driving, looks like things are even worse now. Glad I'm a rare visitor nowadays. Loving the video tho, seeing the roads I know so well.
Danke. Sheffield covers a nice bit of every driving situation, city roads, country roads, etc. Have heard of someone moving from Liverpool and needed to get driving lessons as they weren't used to using the clutch.... but yeh, its the usual places, often easy to spot. Hopefully Sheffield will improve!
Don't tell me you took Peugey to Pontefract racecourse on the pretext of taking it's photo only to loose it in a bet! 🤣🤣 If ever there was a video showing how taxi drivers have their own set of driving rules then this is it. So it's goodbye to an old friend now then, but on to new things with more POWER no doubt. A great collection of clips fella and soon be at the 1K numbers in a few weeks surely. All the best.
Ah, its an old pic (you can tell by hubcaps), but my sister had NHS training at the racecourse and said to park there. I've always liked the pic so I used it. Yeh, I don't like Sheffield Taxis and the CAZ hasn't lightened their behaviour, if anything its worse, like "I'm paying to be here, I best make use of it" kinda thing. Already had a few trips in the GTC, and it feels so much smoother to drive. And yes, not far off the 1k, been a long time!
@03:17 I see a GasSafe sticker on that pick up. Ach! Gas fitters, by in large, think they rule over everyone. Such a high opinion of themselves that entitles them to boss other trades around. This does not extend beyond their professional credentials. Besides, they are not supposed to "cut corners". Loafer the plumber/tiler has had issues with these jumped up types before.
6:54 Actually, that was the Volvo's horn. This isn't the exact horn (at least I don't think so) but it'd sound more a long the lines of this - ua-cam.com/video/y-sWjwVdJCs/v-deo.html
I always find I'm wary of a driver who thinks the space saver is more than a get me home or get me to a tyre repair, oh I'll just tootle about for days first, never mind that it's not safe!

It's not going to be the same without the 207's horn sounding on your videos 😆
5:53 "Sure, that's a very Peugeot thing to do." - Charles from Dashcam Hull
....the grudge is still there....
3:07 Don't see many Citroen Xantias getting about anymore
my dads favourite car, he found them very comfy as a company car

you might be right, I can't be sure in hindsight, either way, its still not a great idea to just stop....
2:02 Get out of the way peasants!!!
Or rather: move peasants get out the way. Get out the way peasants. Get out the way.
Still got the Vauxhall Astra?
I currently have 2 Astra's..... the hatchback one is currently on sale as I can't justify 2 diesel Astras...

As you said, they are "get you home" wheels. How people will willingly drive on them as if they're normal tyres I'll never know
Nice to see the University roundabout is as s*&t as ever!
