Nb seriously as someone who has spent 6 months of the past year working in Rwanda ,which is safer but a bit poorer than Nigeria even if it’s developing fast, I got asked so much what it’s like in Canada and what’s the easiest way to get there. I think what they should have explained that what they are referring to is systemic racism and segregation (meaning it's integrated into our societal system), which don't get me wrong it is a huge problem that needs to be fixed. Nb seriously as someone who has spent 6 months of the past year working in Rwanda ,which is safer but a bit poorer than Nigeria even if it’s developing fast, I got asked so much what it’s like in Canada and what’s the easiest way to get there. The cool thing is I met a lot of hard working smart people that I worked with and went to school with my roommate who have a lot of potential and are super bright even coming from such poor backgrounds. Africa is changing quickly especially in the urban areas and is has fast growing middle class but life is still very hard. It may be unfortunate that he’s going to Georgia but how do you want to tell someone from a country where the gdp per capita is 2200$ and electricity is only just starting to be more widely available not to go to a country where he could easily make enough money to send to his family back home while he lives with his wife

I think what they should have explained that what they are referring to is systemic racism and segregation (meaning it's integrated into our societal system), which don't get me wrong it is a huge problem that needs to be fixed. However, they made it seem as if there were signs stating whites only or blacks only. I think there is a big difference between helping him become aware of the situation and scaring him. Realistically America has both good and bad parts. I think they had good intentions, but they went about it the wrong way and came out looking judgmental of his situation.

One of the first serious questions I asked my current bf(after we established we were dating to find the person we were going to marry) is if he wanted a family. I told him I have pcos and if he wanted biological children it might be hard. I don't understand how these couples don't get these types of things sorted out before they get super serious but Angela just wanted a younger boy toy that she could control which is disgusting.
Exactly. It's the same with my boyfriend and I, I likely can't have kids (PCOS, like you) and if I have any I'd prefer not to have biological ones anyway (I don't want to pass health problems on). We talked that out early on to ensure we are on same page.
