I might be slightly biased as an Australian Villa fan - but I think Joe Gauci is the pick of the bunch. He has been phenomenal in the A-league the past two seasons (especially saving penalties), and his attitude and demeanour will serve him very well learning under Dibu. exciting times, UTV!

Might be utopian here but wish the villa hierarchy could have subsided or taken over and tie into their redevelopmemt plans
@@mobywk It was something that crossed my mind but obviously I have no idea if that's realistic or something that would even be on their radar. I think because it's such a beautiful building and intrinsically linked to Villa and the history of Aston it might be a potential route to take.
Any idea on how or who to raise it to?

To those being cynical about these youth players not working out, Monchi and Unai are known for unearthing gems and turning them into great players. Have a little faith. Louie Berry, Kerr Smith etc aren't Monchi players so that is a moot point when it comes to these players that got brought in.
Not every player can be Moussa Diaby for 50 mill. And to be fair we aren't getting 50 mill out of him at the moment. So you want established players...cool but you have to be realistic in this market. This ownership group plus Monchi and Unai know what they are doing. Give them some time.
I really do love the way we are bringing in Youth players who look like the have huge potential.Also you reminded me about how we have more height and beef to bully our way about a bit more .

Gauci is a beast. Another Aussie Villa fan here and I remember when my A-League team played against him a couple of months ago and i thought this kid is special.
Shame about Traore being so injury prone, he had a decent first season for us.

Regarding potential, it's hard to get excited about. Kerr Smith, Louie Barry, Brad Young, Philogene, Archer.....just a few "next big things"... our last 2 youth products to really shine were obviously Grealish then probably as far back as Agbonlahor in 2007.

@@gazzam3172 shit man, how did I forget about him? Not sure he's a "next big thing" yet, he's had 3 solid seasons but also an injury in each one, another 2 seasons of consistency and I'll be convinced.
It would appear to me there is a bit of a conspiracy going on with owners and the prem league, you over spend, you get fined, you spend the prem league takes a cut. Having punished Everton, I think the owners have stuck two fingers up to FFP....just a theory, don't shoot me.

Wasn't expecting much this transfer window and it blow my expectations out of the water completely. Agreed we likely sell Luca Digne but not sure who else we would want to lose. Champions League + selling Luca Digne would be great for us financially. UTV!
I can see either Tielmans or Buendia possibly leaving as well as Digne and Duran, but I'm struggling to think of any other biggish sale from current squad we could make.

Konza want to sell. He's place must replacement with world class player. He is champion ship standard. So villa must buy as pavard(D.F) inter Milan .
