Have you seen the holiday decor at Walmart? Super cute stuff priced from $1-$13. It's like it's own little section, not even a part of the regular Christmas decorations aisle.
As a self-proclaimed, head-to-toe, polka-dotted princess, who’s spent the past 53 years, trying to blend in my freckles, I do not understand the trend of adding them superficially.
Last time I was at the Dollar Tree … I said five Vivian heads to my husband about a item I watched you test, explained it to my husband, we were at the checkout when I spied it WHICH made my day!! Then DANG here comes a lady outta nowhere and stepped in front of me and grabbed one of the last three off the shelf 😂 My husband said … well she sure knew what you were talking about! Vivian you’re VERY popular at Dollar Tree 🤣😂
Vivian!!!! You're dangerous! I just went to another dollar tree at a completely different town and they have ALLLL the stuff. I thought I was saving money and walked out spending $60 lmfaooo
LOL... Dearly Departed Hubby used to call the Dollartree the TwentyDollartree. If he knew how much I spend there he'd be calling it the HundredDollar Tree!
The hydrocolloid gel bandages are the best. We used very large pads ( in sizes over 6+ inches square) of these on patients already over 30 years ago. I use only these since they stick very well over any wound. They hold well against even water getting to the wound. They maintain the natural tissue fluid like a bubble over the wound. I have had those bandages stay even in hands for many days. Just wash the wound well, let the skin around the wound get dry before applying the hydrocolloid dressing. If needed, use clean 4x4 fabric dressing to dry the area if needed before application. Even if the cost is much higher than regular bandages, the healing is much faster and the scarring is also less. Most of all, any wound hurts much more when the area gets dry and the nerve endings are open to air. The hydrocolloid dressing maintains moist skin, hence much less discomfort. I have not used anything else but these for decades. In the beginning regular stores did not even carry them but I had to buy them from medical supply stores.
Those bandaids are awesome for acne spots. I also put them on my sons foot when he burned it so his socks wouldn’t stick. Worked like a charm. I swear by those things.
Vivian you need to try these dupes of the metallic colored plastic Starbucks tumblers with the 3D hexagonal pattern on the outside. I walked into my Dollar Tree the other day and literally thought someone left their Starbucks cup on the shelf until I picked it up and saw the Dollar Tree sticker underneath. I walked to the next aisle and mine had a slew of them in metallic red and green. I kid you not Vivian, the quality on these is so close to the Starbucks ones. Dollar Tree is coming for these brands!!! LOL.
I bought the satin heatless curler thingamajig and love it. You need to use a claw clip on top to hold it in place. I use it every week and works great for $1.25
I have really long and thick hair and this one does make super loose curls, but I got the octopus one too with the eight legs to curl your hair around and it gave me a lot of absolutely beautiful curls that I got so many compliments on.
Hey all! As someone who's struggled with migraines since I was 14 (I'm 45 now), I have a great trick with the face roller. Freeze it, of course, and then roll it on your forehead, behind your ears, or wherever helps. I was gifted one by a corporate partner FOR that purpose. They branded it...but DEFINITELY get one from the Dollar Tree. Game. Changer.
About that neighbor: at least you now know that person is a thief. (Yes, if you get something that is not yours and are able to return it to the proper person, that is theft.)
I've used the freckle product from Dollar Tree every single day for the last week and ppl think they're real and super cute. Even my freaken dad questioned it! I love love love the product. I've used other types and didn't like em. You need to dot with just the tip ofnthe wand and use your finger in a patting motion to dab the dots everywhere so theyre not as harsh and it works so well for me! The dots shouldn't be big.. Do them as tiny as the tip of the brush is. Don't try and create a circle. Doing them small and dabbing IS the process you HaVE to do to donthem properly...xoxo
Vivian, you are great I enjoy your videos so much! Let me tell you I was in the hospital the other day having a one day procedure done and watching your videos actually help me to drop my blood pressure back to normal range. 😅❤ I was laughing the entire time watching just random videos, calming my jitters. You brighten my day and I thank you for it.
Since I found you, I save so much money! Seriously! I never thought to buy mascara or skin care products at the Dollar Tree but now I have found a couple that are really nice! I’m looking for this mascara next! Thanks Viv! 💗💗💗
I am a kitsch curler supporter. I have bought curling irons in the past and for whatever reason the curls never stay, but noodle curling works for me. There is a learning curve, you curl the ends of the wire if you have short hair (like into a bun with the scrunchie to hold in place). They also make a set of tinier rods. As others mentioned use a big clip to hold in place while wrapping hair. For my hair type Slightly damp/almost dry hair, and leave in over night and the curls last. If I didn’t already have the curler I would be tempted to try the dollar tree one to see the curl difference.
The hair curler rod is awesome. You have more than enough hair you have to watch the video on how to do it, it works amazingly and the curls last for days. Don't do it with wet hair. I am very particular and it saves your hair from heat damage from a curling iron and the curls are😊 awesome
My sister has natural freckles and her daughter (4yrs) didn't come out with her freckles lol so I found that DT freckle pen my niece LOVES it. My my niece Nevaeh wears it everyday now. And telling everyone she sees even strangers at the stores and says " I have freckles like my mom" lol so cute and adorable ❤
Hey Viv, just wait a few years and you will have those spots.🤣I wish I could have found the bandage things. I had cancer removed from my face and leg. I could have used them for both. Happy Holidays to all the Vivian Tries cult following. 🎄🎄🤶🤶✨✨🎉🎉
To me, rollers really are good for the skin - a clean way to massage. And rollers under the yes definitely do help appearance. My favorite is still the SkinNutritions roller in the red box at Dollar Tree. The serum's great, and so is the roller when the serum's gone.
I have hidradenitis suppurativa so I need hydrocolloid bandaids all the time, I found those hydrocolloids at dollar tree recently and theyre actually amazing! They help with my pain and it helps protect the abscesses. Theyre really great quality.
Awesome video. I have a cut on my heel so every step is painful. for a few dollars, I bought the silicon bandage tape and athletic wrap. Now I can walk with very little pain. Dollar tree really is a savior.
Can you please bring back the intro where you say, "Hello you guys and welcome back to another Vivian Tries!!"? That was my favorite part to watch with my mom at the beginning of every video and we would always laugh about it and try to do it like you! lol😂 But, can you please bring back that intro?
I have a mole that in the olden days would have been called a "beauty spot". I can see using that freckle marker to darken that mole. 😂 When I was in my 20s, I used to use eyeliner to enhance that beauty spot, and yes, it used to wear away during the day and I needed to touch it up.
Oh my gosh! I can’t believe people actually want freckles, I spent many years hating freckles! My uncle would sell me a small container of some salve that he promised would get rid of freckles for 50 cents. Well he fibbed, and although he was well aware that my parents had very little money so me having 50 cents means it was a gift, probably from my birthday he took my money. I finally just learned to accept them and through the years they faded. But I hated them so much as a kid.
How I've been using the correcting pen is, keeping it in my purse with a mini sponge for those moments your under eyes just give out and starts not looking great from what factor may have caused it... Unfortunately it happens from time to time, and dry patches, smeared liner/mascara, flaking shadow/glitter, smearing lips and instead of adding makeup which usually goes wrong on me, I use the pen to re hydrate on the go and reblend on the go! ❤ One in purse, one on vanity! ❤
as far as the cooling roller, i have myasthenia gravis. i use the cool/cold rollers when my eyes are acting up and when the heat is getting to me. they help tamp down symptoms.
TIP... The DT makeup corrector...I have tried. You have to use it as soon as you make a mistake. When I put on my mascara, sometimes it will get on my eye lid or under my eye. I used it right away, and it did work. I think you're not supposed to wait until the mascara dries or it won't work because I did try that too, and it wouldn't come off. I'm not sure if that's how the Neutrogena works as well.
I had a kidney transplant. The DT bandaid sucks. I get infections easily so I require covering wounds. I tried the DT ones and after 3 days, no healing of a hole my dogs nail gave me on my foot. When I put on my regular hydroseal/ burn bandaid, it was healing in 2 days. Big pass on Dollat tree ones.
I have natural Freckles that I’ve been trying to fade my entire life… Now they’re in style. People are actually getting them tattooed on their face! I wonder what the mascara if you could put that on and then put your waterproof one on over it??
❤❤ I love your videos you always put a smile on my face. Your laugh is like Lisa Kudrow (phoebe’s from friends) very infectious we have to laugh when you laugh. ❤❤
I don't see the purpose in the hair curling rod, but individual rollers made like that work really well, are comfortable, and won't pull your hair when you remove them. I wonder if the Dollar tree long rod could be cut into pieces?
I come across one of your old videos. Where you was using the degreaser magic stuff. You spray-painted brown paint on your tiles. It wouldn’t come off. You should try WD-40. It will take it off. It works for all kinds of stuff. Not just to loosen up bolts and screws and squeaky doors. Sprayed on a rag and you can your window screens. And spray it on the outside of your house around your doors and windows, and it will keep bugs away.
Hey girl hey. Have had freckles all my life, dont need to add more. DT trip tommorow, thanks for dupes. DT ice roller does look easier to use. Love ya girl❤
I heard that the silky hair roller is too slippery and difficult to work with. I guess you want to get the terrycloth or microfiber one. I've been thinking about trying one of these. Thank you for the demo. ❤
I grabbed all their mascaras. Haha!! It is so good. It doesn’t smudge. I really like them. And the makeup corrector works but you have to touch up your foundation.
The make up eraser thing works good but you have to go over the spot a few more times. It doesn’t remove the makeup you’re over with the pen. I bought one for myself and 3 more for Xmas gifts.
Vivian, thanks for the great finds. I've seen a spongy hair roller with a clip that you use at the crown of your head u til you get the hair wrapped and tied.
I love the telescopic mascara! I’ve been using it since middle school. Tried many other one but nothing compares to that one. I may need to try the wet n wild megalength
If anyine has long hair- i put hair in a loose pony on top using the holders that dont show bend, and get the large flexi rod roller dupes. When hair is about 75% dry, I part end of ponytail in 3 or 4 sections, then starting at the middle of hair and wrap big section around rod- go to sleep, and wake up with big soft curls that stay!!!
Im going to have to try the nail stuff my diabetic meds has my nails going crappy they have gotten very brittle since I've been on my meds they used to be beautiful and never broke off.
The hair curler is supposed to come with a hair comb to attach at the top so it doesn't move as you are twisting your hair around each side. It's not uncomfortable to sleep in at all. Once you're finished wrapping each side you put this crunchy at the bottom to keep the hair from unrolling
Tip..do 3 dots triangular on a figertip than dab it gently and randomly Ive seen Marion cameleon use a root spray for freckles than you buff with sponge
I wear faux freckles pretty much every day I wear makeup. I have so many different freckle pens; a few of the Lime Crime freckle pens (I have one in mocha, cocoa, and magenta) and some Lottie London ones (in light brown and in gold).
I love Dollar Tree Dupes 😩 I can't stop

I like my freckles now. I hated them when I was younger. I can’t believe people are drawing them on 😂
Freckles are cute when you are nine but I covered mine up until finally they (mostly) went away. Now a tinted moisturizer is all i need.

The hydro bandaids are the exact same thing as pimple patches, I buy them, cut them up and put on my breakouts . Multi purpose multi use lol ❤
Yass! 😄
They also work great on blisters from shoes. Gives a little cushion and protects.
I've been pleased with almost every DT dupe I've ever purchased. I buy a lot of my personal care items at DT.
I could not stop laughing as you put mascara on your false eyelashes on your arms! 😂

I was coming to say the same. It works and makes beautiful loose curls!
And the claw clip on top is only needed to first do the wrap process, then can be removed for sleeping.

Omg immediately thought the same thing! 😂
Those waterproof bandaids would be fantastic at helping prevent bed sores on the elderly for all the Caregivers here!🥰👏👏👏
Great idea!
No because they stick too tightly to the fragile skin that has no collagen beneath it. The skin tears away when you remove the bandage

Girllll I want that makeup corrector pen! That looks exactly like the neutrogena!
I bought the Neutrogena Makeup Remover several months ago and it sucks for my eye mistakes... Made it a mess for me 😢
I live my heatless curler!! Works beautifully. Just takes some practice.
