  • Balearic Islands, or rather Majorca, Menorca and Ibiza, a little further away, are located in the Mediterranean Sea near the Catalan coast. Since Middle-Earth warms up quite early by European standards, the beach season on the islands starts in May and ends at the end of September. Majorca is considered the most popular in terms of beach holidays, the famous resort towns of Palma, Alcudia, Cala Mayor and others are located here. It makes special sense to highlight the administrative center of Majorca - the city of Palma de Mallorca, which has preserved many features of ancient architecture against the backdrop of a magnificent bay, it is worth coming here with an excursion at least for a day. Of the must-see attractions, Palm Cathedral, Bellver Castle, Almudaina Palace, Cape Formentor and much more can be distinguished.
Menorca is a much more intimate island in this regard, there is no developed tourist infrastructure, and people come here most often for a day or two with an excursion to admire the wild untouched nature of the island. Menorca is also characterized by beautiful secluded bays and coves.
Ibiza is the unspoken capital of youth in Europe, it seems that the party here does not end either day or night. But few people know that Ibiza is perfect for holidays with families and children, usually knowledgeable tourists choose the east coast of the island for this.
Getting to the islands is not difficult at all, as it is a very popular tourist destination. There are several options: to fly by charter flight directly from Moscow to Majorca, to fly by regular airlines without transfers (more expensive) or with one transfer (cheaper), or to choose the most exotic way - a ferry between Barcelona and the islands (it will be longer in time, but more interesting)
Canary Islands (Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, etc.), Spain
And although the Canaries are geographically closer to Africa- it is also Spain! Many people dream of being in the Canary Islands because of the fertile climate (you can swim here almost all year round) and unearthly landscapes resembling the surface of Mars! Indeed, there is something to be surprised at in the Canary Islands of Spain! The largest and most visited Canary Islands are Tenerife and Gran Canaria. Slightly less popular, but also worth a visit, are Lanzarote, La Gomera and Fuerteventura.
The tourism industry is the main activity here, so get ready that the infrastructure here is developed at a very good level (And not only hotel and restaurant service, but also all kinds of entertainment and even roads! The roads here are just super, it makes sense to rent a car and go around the islands). Ferry service is developed between the islands, so if you wish, you can travel around all the islands of the Canary Archipelago. The origin of the islands is volcanic, which explains their extraordinary landscape.
Among the must-see attractions are the Teide Volcano (Tenerife), Loro Park (Tenerife), Botanical Garden (Gran Canaria), Palmitos Park (Gran Canaria), Timanfaya National Park (Lanzarote), Verdos Cave (Lanzarote), and these are just a few things that are interesting on the Canary Islands in Spain.
You can get to the Canaries, as well as in the case of the Balearic Islands, both by direct charter flights and with a transfer in Europe (most often it is Madrid or Barcelona). By the way, good low-cost airlines Vueling and Iberia Express fly from Spanish cities to the Canary Islands, with which you can quite save on tickets.
    and many others.
