All cows experience grass. They are only kept in the cow shed during winter. It would cost to much to keep them in any longer. Cows eat a lot and they do best on grass.
Audrey Young your attempt to be savage or step out as the victor in this is fruitless because as anyone can tell, these cows are happy and frolic. That is a sign of happiness. Just cause your not into animal husbandry doesn't mean someone else's opinion that it is perfectly fine, is invalid. These animals were raised and breed to be used for human consumption and the fact they have milk that most humans want and like, is the reason these aren't beef cows.
Audrey Young i love these happy cows as much as anyone, but humans are omnivores biologically. It is okay for us to enjoy animal products. Dont treat it like it's unnatural. I mean of course we could go about it in a more humane way, but it isnt wrong to eat cows or any other domestic farm animal. We bred them to eat them
kitty kitty Honestly, if humans were designed to eat meat it wouldn't make sense that 9/10 top killers are diseases caused by the consumption of meat. Besides that, you can't say it's okay to do what you want with an animal because you bred it. 100 years ago we "bred" slaves to use them, now looking back that might've not been the nicest thing?

Susi Batstone They're only happy now because they got let out of their pen. They spent all winter in a little pen and are kept in perpetual pregnancy, just so you can have a bit of milk in your tea or on your porridge. What's happening is unnatural.
Interesting comments from Superjourneyer, please allow me to reply. They are only kept inside during the winter as they would suffer from health problems if kept out over winter. If you look at some of my other videos you will actually see that they want to come inside from November and actually wait at the gate to be let inside when the weather brakes. As for being perpetually pregnant you are mistaken. The cows are given a rest period before they are served again, far more so than in nature where a bull would try and mate with a cow as soon as it could
SuperJourneyer these cows clearly live nice lives. Probably better than what they would experience in the wild. Also, who's to say what's natural? It seems like it's "natural" for humans to work with animals. These guys wouldn't even exist without humans, they're domesticated animals.
We recently had a Socratic discussion about animal rights at my high school and I was trying to prove a point to my classmates that animal abuse is wrong. Watching this video made me happy to see cows out on a free range skipping in nice grass. You have done a good job and I salute to you. I hope they end the industrial way of treating cows
these are dairy cattle so no need to be sad, probably some of the best treated of the domestic animal besides pet. happy cow = more/better milk I guess the baby part is kinda sad

Noam Chomsky Honestly, a fruit-heavy diet seems highly feasible. However, the claim that we were primarily so seems a little sketchy. We evolved during a time of great climate upheaval and fluctuation. Much of that involved drought and desert life, if I recall correctly. On account of this, I have to imagine that fruit was probably too unreliable to serve well as a primary food source. Yes, it'd be plentiful during wet times, but during the desert periods it would have been uncommon, and highly seasonal. Also, I have to say, our teeth don't seem specialized for fruit. Among other things, I have trouble imagining what purpose our canines and grinders are supposed to serve to this end. Our mouths do seem, in my opinion, very much like that of other omnivores. Incisors, canines, and grinders. Good at all, best at none.

For a severely mistreated cow, death is relief. For cows like these, being taken to the slaughterhouse is betrayal. There is not a right way to do the wrong thing, and exploiting animals for their bodies is the wrong thing. This may be less bad, but its still horrible
I agree,
I should be happy but why am I crying after watching this?
They're wagging their tails like dogs, awww.
Very happy cows indeed !
Its rare to see videos of heathy happy bovine frolicking in the pasture in such numbers !
Nice herd !
This made my heart happy. Those are some nice looking dairy cows! All the ones near me look annorexic
This is me in a buffet hahaha
Good job, great to see a farmer that cares about the cows well being.

I love videos like this. Such happy cows being cooped up in the barn all year and can now run around and enjoy the grass.
not cooped up (they have free access to an exercise yard),. and it's only in winter
They're cooped up during the winter and they're only allowed out in the spring. Trust me. I'm aware of how this works. My grandparents owned a dairy farm.
never seen cows so happy. It's a stampeeeede!
So many where do I start..
Running with the cows!
Milkshake!
Black and white getting along just fine!
Me leaving work on Fridays!
I live in the US in the heartland of Illinois/Wisconsin border, never have I ever seen a cow do this. Amazing to see!
I'm gonna be using "as happy as a cow skipping out to grass for the first time" to describe happiness 😂🐮
Just as I suspected ... cows do care about where they live and their environment.
Awwww dude I've never seen happy cows jumping around before. This is the cutest thing ever😂
when creeper blow up my farm fences
Beautiful. What wonderful creatures
Yes
I never knew that skipping cows would give me the biggest smile in my face
Yay cows! They are so cute!
They’re so beautiful. I love them deeply.
Im in a car rn with my cousin she looks out the window laughing so uncontrollably i said “what happened”
She said “ive never seen a cow run before” so i looked it up found this and laughed so hard
Brilliant
Land manatees in their natural habitat.
🥰🥰🥰 watching this make me happy after see factory farm documentary
Those documentaries only capture once in a while employee slip ups no one ever sees videos like these
That is the funniest scene !! Cows jumping sideways, like young goats or doing high kids like Lippezanner stallions. 😄 I could watch all day. But then I wouldn't get much farming done. I think cows are under rated.
"...they prefer it out in the meadow.... *S O T H E Y C A N G E T A G R A A A A Z Z E ON* "

Aw this is lovely!
I haven't seen these cows in a long time.
I want to pet every single one of those cows
Made me cry.
This city girl have never ever seen such happy running leaping cow. This will make you ponder about eating cows.
The fact that the cows live happy lives should make you feel better about eatting it.
Funny things, Hahahaha, beautiful cows , it's like they've turned into calves again sooooo georgus
