Planting potatoes at KMWP from Wilhelminadorp. Since this year, KMWP has been planting with 2 identical plant combinations. The 2-leg combination consists of 2 new Fendt 728 Profi+ gen 7 with a VSS front preparer at the front and the Grimme Prios 440 at the back.
Aardappels poten bij KMWP uit Wilhelminadorp. Sinds dit jaar plant KMWP met 2 identieke pootcombinaties. De 2 pootcombinatie bestaat uit 2 nieuwe Fendt 728 Profi+ gen 7 met voorop een VSS frontbereider en achter de Grimme Prios 440.
Kartoffelanbau bei KMWP aus Wilhelminadorp. Seit diesem Jahr pflanzt KMWP mit 2 identischen Pflanzenkombinationen. Die 2-Strang-Kombination besteht aus 2 neuen Fendt 728 Profi+ Gen 7 mit einem VSS-Frontvorbereitungsgerät vorne und dem Grimme Prios 440 hinten.

Waarom planten ze gehakte aardappelen?

Because it doesn't really matter if the potatoes are whole or chopped as long as they have "eyes" on them. Thats where they start to grow the roots.
And with this method you can basically make 2 out of 1.

@@damian5044 not really, because they aren't cut by Hand but by a machine.
And using half ones insted of whole ones saves a bit of potatoes.
