See Stanley Okoro's life. The downside of age cheating. They would always fade away unto oblivion. Na only Omeruo make am big amongst them. All others were age cheats and their career bore the brunt

That comeback against Germany was so beautiful to see in real-time back then. Look at Marc Andre Ter Stegen in goal for Germany in that game. Sadly, some bad luck and selfish play in front of goal cost us in the final against Switzerland.

Nigeria has talented young players but the problem is that corruption has eating deep into our NFA that if you don't have money to bribe you wouldn't be taken. If you look carefully these boys are not in the field again because of corruption, they don't keep them and follow them up to grow into the national team that is why Nigeria don't have national team, what we have now is not super eagles but chicken eagles.

Due to corrupt players also. When someone up to 25 can claim 17. He is growing up into nothing.

@usafya, can you tell me if Lebron James look like a 17 year old kid when he was drafted into the NBA? I can name so many NBA and NFL players who never looked their age when they were drafted. Sports bring a sort of distinct appearance to most sportsmen-especially those pysical sports.

@usafya, that's bullshit. These young lads always play their hearts out because of the passion for the game- there is no money involved. In the senior level, those guys get a little complacent because they have already made their money overseas. That's why they don't perform that well.

Where are these Nigerian players now, and why are none of them made it into the senior team? That's the million dollar question Nigerian football administration should answer. Most of the Nigerian U-17 players are often overage, and more likely to be in their mid 20s.

Honestly, I am not impressed! the only team I am happy about is the current 2013 U-17. Prior to them, we have been coming with people who are not U-17. :(
