I love these Yachts, as soon as my Lotto cheque comes I am placing an order..... I have watched most if not all of Tony Fleming`s videos. One thing I have noticed is that under power it makes very big bow waves... Is it called displacement?? That is a lot of water it is pushing aside. Yet it looks so sleek and elegant. Is there a reason for this?? :-))
Hi Shirley Boy, a good choice for spending the lotto winnings. The bow waves only come when you push these beauties at full steam. At cruising speed, they have a very efficient hull that pushes through the water effortlessly. The speed is only really required when trying to run ahead of a storm or adverse conditions. The owners of these yachts are hardly ever in a hurry and generally run at efficient speeds where they can achieve long distances with their fuel supplies.
