@Matthew Fuller they were already in the road map for bo4 even in the alpha leaks even the next map wonder weapon came as a melee weapon and it MAKES SENSE because it is about Greek mythology...but things went wrong for bo4 so they just cut everything

probably some of this is the reason Jason left. it must have been frustrating to try and manage a zombies team, having 2 seasons and more DLC's lined up, stories yet to be told. only to be fucked over by Activi$ion YET AGAIN, cutting budget, and then having to cut extra DLC's and seasons etc.
It also explains why all the aether maps were remakes. I could understand blood of the dead as it sets the story up like origins and the giant did but if there weren’t any budget cuts then I feel we would’ve seen some more interesting maps and a more fleshed out story like we did in bo3. The idea of the multiverse ending and everyone dying isn’t a bad thing but the execution was awful. Jason said back in bo3 that Nikolai is the most important character, probably because he’s the only one with a soul and the only one who can stomach sacrificing everyone
Praying they just redo the breaking the cycle story that bo4 told for cod 2024. im sure everyone in the zombies community would be more than fine with treyarch fixing such a big mistake
Now that you mention the idea of Aether manipulation still within Samantha, it brings me back to the Maxis radio in Alpha Omega, where it's discussed that purification is a complete myth and there is no such thing as restoring one's innocence once they've made contact with the power of the Aether. Samantha Maxis' powers are eternal, as well as her very legacy. *In simple talk, you simply cannot remove her status as a badass.*
Obviously Samantha’s music box that was incredibally out of place in a tag der toten was intended for the Great War map; they would have simplified staff collection by having the music box be a single weapon/item to use the tunnels around the map instead of specific color coded grams phones and discs. I’ve done so; so much research… the German accented Samantha was being held secretly at the giant facility (the eyes are red and connecting the mainframe teleporter to the Exlipse overhead activates a bridge connecting aether to dark aether , rather than both sides being above and below creation: final thoughts quickly; the final Primus Richtofen (in all likelihood the one we presumed dead at Blood of the Dead who might’ve gotten elder god blood infusion) would have killed the Black Ops 3 Primus Richtofen who teleported to the Giant in the intro cutscene for Black ops 3, thus allowing hik to use the summoning key to save Samantha from the Dark Aether and fire rockets at Venus in the eclipse (alluded to as the source of 115 in a world with no agartha) and prevent it from ever reaching Earth and resetting the timeline.
When he said “they should have had chaos last after wrapping up the Ether story” around 11:15 a little bit before is when he said it. But man it hurt my feelings lol at least the mystery of how it ended lasted longer
I'ts very sad that a great story of 10 years ended like this, i wouldn't say the ending is bad, but in reality is that ended being rushed and in a weak way with a end really unsatisfactory, we don't deserved this.

I bet you dont even know how broken the zombie AI in bo3 lol they are soo on crack to the point where 3arc had to change core elements to adjust for that ( we never saw something like that before lol ) You cant chill on bo3 compared to waw ( solo atleast since my friends are like you, they dont like chill gameplay :/ i guess im an oldschool player .. oh well )
The story explains that they are only in each location for a limited time each place so that and the cycle and multiverse means that things are not as linear as they seem

maybe the 'Ultimis will Prevail/Primis will fail' was talking just about Richtofen. Primis Richtofen died is Blood, he didn't get to carry out the cycle, so he failed. Ultimis Richtofen could have prevailed by carrying out another grand scheme in the ZC 2 maps
I really wanted to see the original staffs as playable wonder weapons instead of how they're copies in origins, they would be the orginals like we see in the revelations ending cutscene, where they look even cooler and would be more powerful
I don’t think it was ever planned because of the cipher in revelations were Dempsey talks about Monty finding them before they kill themselves and send the kids off to a clean dimension.

the truth is that the zombies story was made up as they went along, written by a mixture of writers who struggled to connect the dots because each story was written without concern for the next story... its comes from the mind of many and was handed to one man ... he was asked to make sense of this story and piece each one together... his reply was... its so fucked up the only way this shit could ever make sense is to add multiple timelines and dimensions.... its a mixture of random shit put together and thats why there's so many things left unanswered... the writers towards the end hated their job because they knew how dumb it was.. it did not come from the mind of one person and was never designed in the first place with a storyline included. as it got more popular the writers tried to continue the story however the story was started by one person with no sequel in mind and then passed on to another team to continue somehow in the next game... bo2 released with 1 Aether story map, Origins. it was about the transit crew, then bo3 went back to the roots of bo1 but because bo2 was done things started to not make sense. bo3 had its own good stand alone story but when they writers were asked to wrap things up on bo4 they had no real ideal how to make it all come together as one story because at the beginning that was not a concern. this is why bo4 is so fucked up because they tried to make 3 separate stand alone story's come together as one, but because this was never intended it was practically impossible to do that. so they took what they could and made the best ended they could with what they had.. yet you lot love the storyline like its some kind of masterpiece lol i love zombies but the storyline is a mixture of stuff and 1 writer was tasked with somehow piecing it together, the story is do messed up the ONLY way they could even connect just some of it was to add multiple dimensions and timelines lol something u could use to connect any amount of storylines together regardless how different they are.

They put a lot of attention onto the chaos storyline just so people would only like 2 of the story's maps and introduce the most FORGETTABLE CHARACTERS . More people recognize the soldiers from WAW NACHT. I can't even be mad at the game too much. It was held back by butchered funding and cut resources. The story to me ended ok with what they setup, just not really hyped about it. I still play this game though. It's a guilty pleasure
