I just realized after the thirtieth watch, he succeeded at killing them and went to prison. They just came back to life like all the other times, but it’s not accepted this time because he killed the human version of them and not puppets.

Gotta say i fully expected everyone to die when i saw the first dummy and the entire episode to focus on carl. But now i realize the team was just poking fun at horror tropes with all the clichés that happened in the first minute and a half.
Given that it had Carl's fingers, I think it got delivered to him first, it took off his fingers, and he managed to stuff it in a box, then dropped it off on their step and ran. Of course, the next day, another dummy arrived
I was wondering why I never recall seeing this episode as a kid but I just unlocked a memory that the reason I never watched it is cause Shake reading the story genuinely scared me and never got past that scene cause I stopped watching 😂
