correct me if I'm wrong after Condenser still High pressure & High temp subcooled liquid before it reach the metering device. Subcooled liquid doesn't mean changes in temperature please refer to Subcooling .
I think for most practical purposes you're right, the liquid line is hot enough to be somewhere between uncomfortable and unsafe to touch. I get where he's coming from though. There's a lot of heat that goes away in the condenser.

Our set up here is an old set up which doesn't have a controller for these. We only do it manually., for yhe air flow we throttle the valve
