What is the difference between the strong values you make, just to lift them off again, compared to using more diluted paint? To me it seems like you actually waste a lot of painting?
Make no mistake, I love your technique and your style, and I'm definitely going to paint along with you on this, I'm just wondering, because others use much more diluted painting for layering?
