Encounters Workshop | The Secrets Of the Desert D&D 5e
Вставка
- Опубліковано 12 сер 2024
- Today I go over some interesting and iconic themed encounters for levels 1 - 3 in Tier 1 play in DnD 5e. I've broken these encounters into two categories, Elite and Regular Encounters, that I've already balanced. Meaning no extra work for you fellow dungeon masters, they're already ready for use in your campaign. I reference where you can find some of the stat blocks yourself, along with providing both a visual of the creature(s) and notable abilities for some of the creatures mentioned. I also cover some tactics/ways to implement and use these encounters at your dungeons and dragons table.

Yess!!!! I've been waiting for this from you for ages! Always spot on stuff, hitting head on the nail!!
I especially enjoyed that these desert encouters actually suits a campaign specific to a desert setting rather than just some quick flavour drizzle in a travel montage. Personally when I've run desert campaigns, my favourite has always been "sandsharks". I homebrewed sharks to have burrowing instead of swimming speed and then set them loose amongst the party's camels or other mounts when traversing the dunes. Describing an uneasy camel trying to escape what from afar just looks like extra shimmering sand. Shimmering sand that just keeps on getting closer and closer until sharks jump up from the dry sand!
Haha I'm glad you liked it! And sorry for the long delay, I get a little lazy one weekend and everything is pushed back by a lot!
Love the energy, king, earned that subscription
Thank you thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video, and hopefully part 2 gives you even more fun ideas to crus...entertain your party!
