The ideal time to buy is during a bear market, but if you're interested in Bitcoin, the next best time is right now. Interesting video! One possible issue that worries me with bitcoin (that isn’t often mentioned) is hacking. They were created back when the BlackBerry was still in. In this world of quantum computing and AI I can’t help but think it will all eventually crumble, like most technologies.
That's a legit concern. Similar could happen with traditional accounts though, although at least there is some regulatory protection. That's why I think it's important to diversify, not just type of holding within portfolio, but also location/custodian. E.g. buying bitcoin on several exchanges, so if something happens to one exchange, or one of your accounts on one exchange, not everything is at risk. Also, as soon as more bitcoin is accumulated, taking it offline to a cold wallet, and even then diversifying those by having multiple.
Those are good points. Although what I’m taking about isn’t taking over a wallet but rather the technology as a whole; making it obsolete. Like if a system leans to mimics them and floods the market. Love your content btw :)
Valid point, definitely! If AI gets that far, I think there will be even more to worry about! That's definitely an interesting discussion to have. Thanks!

@@LivinginCanadakeep in mind that Layer 2 solutions like the Lightning Network have been built on top of the Bitcoin network that can facilitate micro tx’s for less than a penny and are instant 👍🏻. For now it will be more a store of value but will eventually evolve to a method of payment.
Nice video. I am a technical trader. My suggestion is you can make money on the way up. No one knows how high it will go so first don't put too much money in just in case it "crashes". So the secret is get in and out as it trends up. You want to get in on pull-backs (when it drops). I use a technical indicator, along with other tools, that signal when a pull back may be ending at which point you get in before it starts going up again. But then you want to sell when it starts to peak and begin a pull-back again. You just repeat this process. This is better than blindly buying (most people buy at highs) and holding "forever". I use a Day chart for technicals to determine entry and exit points and then use the weekly chart for monitoring the trend.
Shares of good companies also don’t increase their supply, in some cases even shrink. Plus they give you ownership in a cash producing asset. Bitcoin is trash compared to stocks.
"your bitcoin is not actually located on the exchange, but on the blockchain". Ehhhm, it is actually located on that exchange, as they own the private keys to your bitcoin on the blockchain
well... you can drop say $500-1000 on bitcoin out the gate as a new comer and essentially DCA for the next decade or longer or just buy a little every month and stack in cold storage and maybe that gets you a few hundred thousand or more in the future for retirement....
NDAX sucks! Lots of down time.. especially I lost couple of "buy the dip" chances on NDAX. Oh Also, yes it is too late to buy BTC. Just figure out the cycle first then jump in 2026. Why? long-term investors are waiting for your fresh FOMO money. That's the way it works in this coin field.
store of value 🙄yet it hasn't seen any real traditional bear market, and can still lose 80% of it's value over time, we'll see when the recession really hits how low it can go
What does Bitcoin produce? If you said nothing then not good idea put your saving into it….. not because Trump or Musk talk about it then it is a good buy.
it's a decentralized network, you can send assets borderless, permisionless. governments cannot delute it since they cannot create it out of thin air. you cannot create more then 450 bitcoins in a day, this number will drop to 225 by 2028.
Part 2: As long as the current system is printing fiat, debasing currencies around the world (which get have to in order to prevent it from failing), all other stores of value are losing value and having inferior store of value properties. So the sky is the limit when it comes the true value of BTC. So there really is no ‘bad’ time to dollar cost average into BTC.
How can I buy BTC if I have no cellphone? Dealers require text authentication. I keep my wallet at room temperature. How cold does my wallet have to be to store BTC?
Heard about it in 2014 but ignored. I started buying in January before the ETF. I should have started in the summer of 2023 when it was much cheaper. lol
@QUINTUSMAXIMUS yeah, but buying now is still fine. At least you are buying what you understand not just buying random things because you wagna get rich

The biggest issue with Bitcoin and other well-known established forms of crypto is that people see how much it has shot up in 10 or so years, and then go out and borrow tons of money to invest in it, which is money they never technically had in the first place. Then when markets drop, they are at extreme risk of either not being able to pay off their loans, or get forced to sell low given they are digging a huge hole. Like traditional markets, only invest what you are willing to lose, and don't borrow money to invest since it isn't money you had to invest in the first place (you are playing with fire if you do).
Sound advice. People should just stick to dollar cost average when investing in crypto. Specially if you don't know what you're doing. Much less stress that way and lower the volatility of the portfolio while keeping good gains.
Possibly. But if the histeria dies down or if the government somehow creates laws to regulate its use people may get board of it, or other decentralized competitors may creep up causing competition. Lots of possibilities that could stagger the "infinite growth". Just be careful.
I've been looking into cryptocurrency investments, but I'm still unsure about the best and safest way to go about it. Any advice or insights you could share?
Spend a lot of time learning about it, understanding it. Then ease your way into it by starting with small amounts, gradually invest more as you understand it better!
@@GetRoasted1 There's s few currency backed by real assets. But yes you're right most of them are not. Which explains why BTC is necessary for people to hold instead of fiat currency.
@ can you specify which currencies? The only thing currencies can be backed by are hard assets as in gold or BTC and we got off the gold standard in 1971. Which means no currency is backed by anything as in they can print as much as they want.
@@GetRoasted1 Military Edit: Even if weapons and jets don't bring money, its the only real thing that makes people believe that their currency is valuable or not. I believe that Blockchain technology will be a large part of global finance in the near future. I get the idea of the libertarian movement behind bitcoin because central banks have manipulated currencies to control the masses but I think Bitcoin was the prototype. It is too slow, expensive (mining fees) and lacks scalability to be used as a true currency and the Satoshi wallet is a big problem for me because nobody knows who he/she/they is. Opportunities exist right now because it's still in the adoption phase and those who hold the digital assets that will be used are set to make monstrous returns. I enjoy the content, thank you.
Thanks so much! The true value of bitcoin is in using it as a store of value, rather than as a currency. Colloquially, bitcoin is called a currency, but it's more useful as an asset. In the traditional investment world, it would be like holding an ETF or bond for long-term investment, then liquidating, say $500 of $1,000 of it to buy groceries.
@@LivinginCanada I do think there is room for a return in the long term in bitcoin but in the short term there are assets with much more profit margins, like XRP for instance.

Does bitcoin has a bitcoin banks.......?otherwise it is empty.
If you don’t believe the prospect of BTC, even the price its extreme low, you wont buy
Slow? Heard of “the lighting network”? Probably not. Too expensive? Definitely did not hear of “ibit” btc spot etf currently ~ 55$ is that expensive?!
Shout out to NDAX!
21 million is max, how many peeps are there on the world? wanting it!!
I enjoyed this video so much !
Glad you did, cheers!
You are awesome ❤️
Love bitcoin university. Nice video here.
Thank you!
I buy regularly and I dollar cost average. So I buy it whether it goes up or down.
Its too late if you expect getting rich af. But it's still a good investment.
well... you can drop say $500-1000 on bitcoin out the gate as a new comer and essentially DCA for the next decade or longer or just buy a little every month and stack in cold storage and maybe that gets you a few hundred thousand or more in the future for retirement....
@@artisanjames182 Or you could wait a year and a half and not be down 50-85% for the next 4 years and make way more profit.
Great video. thx
if bitcoin is late, can think mstr is a choice now
I can't stop watching her
SATS ARE DISEPEARING TO BITCOINS OMGG
Oh my word.. Beautiful and Intelligent.
When random UA-camrs start talking about Bitcoin, that’s a top signal.
Sell it
store of value 🙄yet it hasn't seen any real traditional bear market, and can still lose 80% of it's value over time,
we'll see when the recession really hits how low it can go
What does Bitcoin produce?
Yes!
How can I buy BTC if I have no cellphone? Dealers require text authentication. I keep my wallet at room temperature. How cold does my wallet have to be to store BTC?
The well-oiled ones were steaming 😮
Began buying last year, although I first heard about it in 2019. It's a nice idea and I'll keep buying whenever I have disposable income
Thanks
Interesting points
not really but it will go down soon.
Few months
I understand it as soon as it pop ups in the news way way back i just dint know how to have some and the adults are lacking interest no matter how much i beg them to buy, now that im adult too with my own purchasing power i just look into alt coins that can maybe mimic or even surpass bitcoin success cuz im greedy af i dont want 1000x i want 100000000000x

My own research: bitcoin is going UP in the long term forever
I would recommend you to get an advisor. As for me my advisor has been so good to me and I'm glad to say I hit 240k handling my trade.
Don’t buy now. Wait for next bear market to hit
there's no question of being late or not ........
Altseason coming soon! 🚀
Bitcoin 🧡Baby 💕🌎💯🍼
People, i would even specify canadians, more than ever need to have a good amount of BTC in their portfolio because the CAD dollar is back by nothing
No currency in the world is backed by anything 😂
@@GetRoasted1 There's s few currency backed by real assets. But yes you're right most of them are not. Which explains why BTC is necessary for people to hold instead of fiat currency.
@ can you specify which currencies? The only thing currencies can be backed by are hard assets as in gold or BTC and we got off the gold standard in 1971. Which means no currency is backed by anything as in they can print as much as they want.
@@GetRoasted1 Military
Edit: Even if weapons and jets don't bring money, its the only real thing that makes people believe that their currency is valuable or not. You can also say natural ressources even tho its not a directly backing the currency. Canada don't use their ressources as they should to strengthen their economy, their military is small and under invest compare to other big countries and lastly they're not backed by gold.
Never too late to trade though!
I can imagine! I'm holding bitcoin for long-term appreciation :)
"Investing" in Bitcoin betrays a misunderstanding: instead, "Owning" Bitcoin means you have no intention of "di-vesting" it because it is true wealth and a gateway to our future.
That's the reason why you need an advisor to guide you like me. I do have an advisor and she has been so helpful to me during this bullrun market.
I'm glad to say I hit 240k
@@BitLifestyle-r1b What does the advisor know that you don't?
It is too late, wait for next bear market.
I heard about Bitcoin from Max Kaiser when it was about $1... I thought it was a hoax. Duh!!!
Too late ? What a dumb question.
What’s your take? If we get a major crash, is Bitcoin truly a safe long-term investment, or are we just hoping for the best? 🔥💸
