Wow! This is one of the best drone reviews I have ever watched, Captain. I enjoyed it very much. I am and old fart in a power wheelchair and flying a drone is one of the activities that I can take part in fairly well. This, methinks, is one drone that I have to have. I believe you make the best reviews out there, and wait impatiently for the next one. By-the-way, I was one of the lucky recipients of Captain Drone stickers this time. Thank your wife for me. God bless you.

The best drone reviews out there. You're the only one I subscribe to in relation to drone reviews and news. Not that I don't watch a few others sometimes, but your the only drone related that I subscribe to. Thank you for all the time you take uploading detailed drone videos
my favorite review. in my price range, and all the relevant things to consider, for a newb. been watching for a while to both learn and think of considerations. thankyou captain
You’ve produced a superb series of 3 videos on the Lite+, Steve! All very informative and much appreciated. Thanks very much! (Look after your fingers!)
Dear Cap'n, I started flying drones in 2020. Bought a very cheap indoor drone from Target, then followed that with a budget drone costing around AU$250, which I subsequently watched become part of a cliff face, then purchased the Mavic 2 Pro. Then I discovered your channel. Your reviews have been invaluable to me as a guide to drone purchase. So since my first purchases I have bought more than 25 drones. Some crashed, a couple of flyaways, an implosion and a couple given to my grandchildren. My fleet now consists of the SG906 Pro2 (Captain Drone recommendation- CDr), SG906 Max, BDRC M1, C Fly Faith (CDr), CFly Faith 2 (CDr), Fimi X8 Mini (CDr), Hubsan Zino Mini Pro (CDr), Autel Evo Nano Plus (CDr), Hubsan Zino Pro and Pro 2, Hubsan Zino 2 Plus (CDr), Fimi X8 SE 2022 (CDr ((2020 version)) ), Mavic 2 Pro, Air 2 S (CDr), and have just ordered the Autel Evo Lite Plus (CDr), which I purchased through RC Going, and was able to negotiate a discount although I'm not a reviewer. Thank you for your channel as I have found you to be the most thorough, honest and positive reviewer in a sea of drone reviews. Also you're Canadian, and my favourite TV show atm is Letterkenny. I have a question which I hope you can answer. Your local rules must allow night drone flying, whereas in Australia we have a night curfew. Or do you need a licence to fly at night? Thank you again and look forward to your next review. Brad Burgess.
Thank you for the comments. You have a great collection of camera drones and you’re gonna love the EVO Lite+. Dynamic Tracking is still not released as of today but should be coming soon. For night flying in Canada all that is need is indicator lights on the drone (for 250 gram drones and greater).
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Thank you heaps for your reply. I guess you're lucky with the night flying, but there is no drone registration for drones over 250gms in Australia at the moment. I hope your frostbitten finger is healing healthily. Happy droning 🙂
Terrific trio of videos, Cap'n - I really appreciate how thoroughly you went into each aspect of the drone. The night footage is very impressive indeed. Thanks as always, keep safe!
You the Man Steve! I've been waiting for this video and all three parts were just so helpful and educational! And also it was so cold!!!! Sorry to hear about your finger Steve, your dedication is appreciated. The lite plus is probably even better in normal temperatures. Thanks again looking forward to your next video.
I just purchased the Evo lite Plus and I love it. A lot of bang for your buck. I also love the 6k image and I don't think the 2 or 4x zoom is bad at all. I'd probably use it if I needed to. Thanks for another great video "Senor Capitan", sir!!!!.
I was excited to see you had 3 videos for us. I got my Captain fix. That camera is really amazing and dare I say it comparable to Mavic 3. If I didn’t just buy my DJI I would definitely buy this drone. Can’t go wrong when Captain recommends. Best wishes
Amazing night view! and the bottom light is wonderful, lol! Thanks for sharing! looking forward to seeing the dynamic tracking, and take good care of your finger!
I love the zoom it is easy to get all technical and miss the content that the zoom is providing. I only ever use 1080p and am happy with the 4x zoom on that. I try and look at and enjoy the content
Impressive machine...especially the low light...going to take a serious look at these (nano+ mostly...Canada drone laws and I already have the DJI M2 and M3) once all the features are rolled out.
A brilliant set of videos, full of info shared in a way that is understandable and easy to follow.. Particularly for those about to take up this wonderful hobby. The videos and photos of your neighborhood are exceptional. The snow adds a unique dimension of its own. Here in the UK we don't have the snow or temperatures you have to contend with. Hope your frostbite heals, stay safe and Thank You. Nigel G
This is a very complete review of the drone that I am waiting for, thanks and you have a new subscriber!, by the way you say 8-bit Log video will come, that means 10 bit video is not expected?
The zoom is certainly acceptable. Sorry about your frostbite. I do hope it heals and comes back. Stay out of the super cold temps. I do like the controller look. They say this is entry level, but it does not look like it. The pics and video are really good and the night video is just astounding. I so appreciate you doing this. Take care and I'll keep watching and commenting and thumb upping.
Yes, its me again. I need your advise on one more issue. I'm trying to decide what the heck to get. I had been flying the evo 1 for almost 3 years. I had taken it to unbelievable places. I could get it in the air flying in 2 mins and never had a disconnect or problem. After all that I was testing a battery I knew was bad in my front yard and had it crash . Sent it to Autel and they said it would cost more to fix than it was worth. I'm still torn up about it. I bought a mini 2 a week ago and took it back today. Nothing but issues with mainly the app. no fly zones suck too. I'm torn between getting the evo lite plus or buying an evo 1 like I had before. I still see a few out there new for sale. My concern with the lite is the new fly app. I don't want to be constantly reminded to do something or warned about something, something the evo 1 never did. it never stopped me from flying for any reason. I still have an older version of the explorer app on my phone that always worked great with my evo. I'm sure another evo 1 would connect back up to it. What are your thoughts?
First, every DISCONNECT issue on a drone is usually 99% the fault of the users cell phone. The port in which you attach the cable from the drone is dirty. You need to spray contact cleaner in your phone. Second, the Lite+ is miles ahead of the original EVO, and the original EVO no longer receives support. The biggest difference for you might be the APP since Autel has made it more simple for beginners so it is very different.
Great set of videos. Well broken down into manageable segments! Well done Capitan! The Air 2S is around $1,300, the Lite + is around $1,700, and the Mavic 3 is around $3,000 for the fly more combos. I think for the money it is well worth it.
I think in an apples to apples comparison the regular Lite with the same camera as the Nano+ and the Air 2s are fairly equal. Just going by the reviews. I don't own either of the Lite's yet.
As usual, great informative video. Sorry for your frostbite! I wanted to buy the DJI Air 2S for recreational stuff only, but now having seen your video, I think Autel is the way to go. Well done Steve!

Hi Steve, I have the nano Manny now I bought the Evo light plus so I have two controllers so on my phone do I use a different app? This is 61 2024. They are great drones. Thank you for showing me how to use.
Maybe sometime you can explain the microphone function. I was able to send the audio with the video when the phone was connected to social media sharing. But apparently the audio is not saved to the video on the SD card.
Exactly. As mentioned in the video it saves the audio to the images cached on your phone. All drones with audio do that. The only drone on the planet that sends the audio to the micro sd card in the drone is the POWERVISION POWEREGG.
Another beautiful review thank you so much. I actually bought one minutes after watching. I gotta ask how you would feel about using it professionally versus the Evo2 pro 6k? 8bit log sounds scary compared to 10bit. Regardless, I'll have this as a backup to the Evo 3 pro when it comes out (getting rid of my DJI stuff)
So Steve, would the camera on this drone work/fit on the evo 2 Pro? Or, do you know if they will update the 2 Pro with the same camera as this drone but with all the good stuff from the 2 Pro? Hope that made sense. Lol
That's it!!! As soon as my wife falls asleep I'm buying this drone ... 😁 captian thank you very much you have no idea how much I appreciate it

I asked AUTEL to send them to me, if they'd like me to show them to the public. I'm not holding my breath.
Passando pra prestigiar aquele super like
So is the 6K camera itself appear to be the same hardware that Evo 2 Pro uses? If so, that's a "+" 😆 -Like "save TO SD"
I like really good review
Good morning nice video
Question I am having. I have a mavic 2 zoom. Would it be worth buying the Lite + when I could buy an upgrade the camera to a Pro?
Captain, can you please help me figure out how to activate turtle Mode on my DJI remote and drone on betaflight? Thanks.
Betaflight? If a drone has turtle mode, you’ll see it in Betaflight.
That insane
Another beautiful review thank you so much. I actually bought one minutes after watching. I gotta ask how you would feel about using it professionally versus the Evo2 pro 6k? 8bit log sounds scary compared to 10bit. Regardless, I'll have this as a backup to the Evo 3 pro when it comes out (getting rid of my DJI stuff)
Using a drone professionally depends on what line of work you are in. Real estate photos would work, but anything for film/TV would not.
The control look like. A holy stone
So Steve, would the camera on this drone work/fit on the evo 2 Pro? Or, do you know if they will update the 2 Pro with the same camera as this drone but with all the good stuff from the 2 Pro? Hope that made sense. Lol
I was told it would not fit. I’m guessing they will eventually update the pro camera with the newer sensor.
