- Evil Empire revealed their very first game today, after nearly 5 years of working on post-launch content for Dead Cells. The Rogue Prince of Persia is their indie take on the iconic video game IP and will be launching into Early Access on Steam on May 14th 2024. In this action-platformer roguelite, players will take on the role of the titular Prince and flow between death-defying platforming and acrobatic combat as they battle through the capital city again and again with one goal - find a way to save Persia from a Hun invasion wielding dark magic.

The art style reminds me of Treasures of The Agean,this looks incredible,as a long time Prince of Persia fan, definitely happy to see this. Been playing the latest Prince of Persia game and absolutely love it, can't wait to try this one too.

@@Keram-io8hv Prince Of Persia (2008) reboot flopped, so Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands took its place which also flopped, then some mobile game called Prince Of Persia The Shadow and the Flame started the platfomer trend which is why Prince Of Persia is now degraded to a 2D platformer IP.

bro, who tf cares about that? Like, let the devs tell the story they want to tell. SoT/WW/TTT is a finished self-contained story. It doesn't need to have everything else tied to it.

That’s because Persian does not equal Arab, Persians are Persian. This Prince actually looks more Persian than most of the previous ones, even in what he’s wearing. I can tell you as a Persian myself
