Had to watch this video like a million times to finally understand the laws but I did it! Never thought orbits would confuse me that much but here we are!
so t is time it takes to take its one orbit around the earth and r is the distance from the sun if you take t2 divide it by r3 you get its constant my question is what exactly is the constant is that the speed in which the planet is traveling?
I'm afraid not; the constant is simply a number that's roughly the same for every planet in a given solar system. It was useful historically because it allowed Kepler to understand how the planets moved, and later helped Newton to come up with his theory of gravitation. You can find out more about it here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kepler%27s_laws_of_planetary_motion#Third_law_of_KeplerTo calculate the speed at which a planet travels, you need to divide the circumference of its orbit by the number of seconds in one year on that planet. (Circumference/time)Hope this helps! :)
You made this video 6 years ago but this video still helps people! I entered college and more new concepts have appeared and I had no idea of these. Your video reeeeaallllyyy helpsss (⊃。•́‿•̀。)⊃ thank you 🎉 hve a great day
It's the plural of 'focus'; the two points inside an ellipse that determine the shape of that ellipse. You can learn more on this website: www.mathopenref.com/ellipsefoci.html
My son is studying astronomy and physics, so I need to be conversational in such things as Kepler's Laws. Thanks for the tutorial!
This is beautiful
Very clearly explained! Thank you!
i was having such a hard time understand the first law and dude u just saved me....

Very well explained and it cleared all my doubts.
very nicely explained, very well put! THANKS!
This is the best Planetary motion law video ever only had to watch it twice lol
Wow. Thanks so much. This was well done and easy to understand.
Thank You
THANK YOU PHYSICIST KK
Perfect explanation 👌🏻
THANK YOU!
Nice work pal.Thank you
Superb video
Great video!
Thanks ..it helps ....

Very Nice video
Nicely
cool
Nice. please make such useful video.Thank you.
Awesome work out..KEPLER was created by god for this phenomenal discovery only !! great !!
no he wasn't
kiran sundar lmao no
Explanation is awesome but it would have been more good if this was an animation while you were explaining the 2nd law
Fair enough! I wasn't comfortable with animations at the time I created this video, but will certainly give them a go in future astronomy videos. :)
Thanks sir

Thank you for your lovely feedback! :D

I hope it helps! :)
It really helped my daughter in finals
Hi! That is awesome to hear. I hope she gets great results. :D
good :)
Nice vedio
Nycccc
And now we have flat earthers
and that's why planets orbital path was explained and named after him as KEPLERS belt..
Whose here from online school because of the rona?
