0:15 The one you are showing for 13$ is the D3. The actual D8 on the other options are a bit more expensive (not by much). Got mine for around 28 euros, it has been amazing so far.
d3 has hall sensors?
@@NekoNekoMusik I don't think so
You are correct AliExpress really likes to throw people off with this as you have to select the correct controller by the seller lol.
D3 don't have hall sensors
yea thats d3, d8 last i checked on the same adress from the link 29€, so its still fine, but not as fine as 15€
D8 is not $16! That's just misleading. The cheap one is the D3 and cannot even compare to the D8.
It's link in description wym
u right the 16$ is for the D3
Thissss!
A different seller on AliExpress does have the d8 at 18 dollars though.
Edit: multiple actually.
Edit 2: responded the shop name and guess it got deleted.
Who had it Im seeing D6 @@heyitsnobody
Received mine a couple weeks ago, $20 shipped. Paired it up with a new Fire HD 10 I got for $50 on the Black Friday trade in deal. Moonlight works perfectly, and I'm gaming more than I ever did on the 50" hooked to the PC in the game room. Just turn on the PC, start up Sunshine, and go anywhere in the house to play.
How's the vibration motor using moonlight?
I just recuved tge BSP-D9 and it's totally awesome. Feels 90% like a real dualshock 5.
I want to see that controller too, that one can fit larger tablets and I want one for my Lenovo P11 Pro, the true Playstation Portal experience
Do you know if the d9 will fit the galaxy tab s+ series (12 inch)?
Unfortunately no because d9 highest widith is 28 cm
And galaxy tab s9 plus is 28.5 cm@TYKU121
Just got this a few days back for 25 dollars(including shipping ) from aliexpress and I'm happy with my purchase
Got the same controller. Rumble works well on xbox game pass games, latency is barely noticable with smooth gameplay, the controller seems to be well built, if you don't like the rgb lights around the joysticks, you can turn it off. Had mine for four months already with heavy use and all buttons still work as intended, and there's no drift. Loving it so far.
What's the quality of the vibration like?
I got the D8 and am quite happy with it. Read the manual if you have any issues I had to change the mode
Please make a tier list of all the telescopic controllers you’ve presented over the years.
The D8 is NOT $15! That is the D3. PLEASE update the title. I accidentally ordered the D3 as well using the link.
I did the same thing. I sent it back.
@@4evrplanWhen I was about to Purchase it the first time,I noticed it shows a very low Price and it automatically starts off as D3 but then you have to switch it to D8 and the price will go up to $23 or $25 depending on the Seller but always look at what you’re buying before making a Purchase but its their fault for having D8 on Thumbnail with $15 Price then automatically switching it to D3 once you click on the Store Page,so its misleading with the Price snd Device
@@4evrplan and he still has the error in the title of this video.
I am thinking this guy just churns out too many videos these days. Unsubscribing.
this guy got too popular and abuse the shit out of their channel name its annoying @@0525ohhwell
I bought a D9 for $36 and it's fantastic.
I just got my lenovo y700 2023, then realized there's not much controller that will fit that tablet size lol. You just saved me having to break open a controller to mod them! Thanks!
now you can use the new razer kishi ultra for the legion tab y700, really good controller but also very high price point.
I got this controller almost a week ago. You can also use this as a Dual Shock controller for the official PS Remote Play. I believe it was Power Button + B for PS4 mode.
The bsp-d9 is great for my s9 tab with a silicone case. it fits 11 inch tabs comfortably.
The D9 expands big enough to fit a relatively big tablet. It expands large enough to fit my kindle fire HD10 (2019) which I think might be the size of a modern 11-12" tablet.
This one is an amazing controller and it fits my 8S Pro with a solid case it's beefy!
Found this for £12+£6 shipping and bought it, damn, it's a steal. Love it.
From?
I prefer the D6 controller. Been using on it Android and Switch for months. Comfortable, no issues, and the battery holds for a long time.
I have this. It's actually great and works with everything one of the best purchases I've made. It is much better than you'd expect. It really is a great controller in my experience. But I paid 23£ no need to mislead people.
2:22 yeah, they're doing that offset USB placement to encourage people to buy the controller from them, rather than from a random brand on Amazon.
It has analog triggers? Sold me right there. Most other controllers with analog triggers are quite expensive, usually $60+. I have the older D3 non analog trigger version, and I still use it, and it still works. I will upgrade to this one asap. I haven't used the touch screen button mapping app, but I installed it and it appears to work. I mostly use it for emulators, but racing games really need analog triggers. So I also have a PS4 controller with phone mount. One of these new cheap D8 gamepads will let me ditch it and just use 1 controller...well, hopefully. Also...you can turn the lights off on the D3, for people who weren't aware...I wasn't. Also...the fact the D8 can fit a tablet now...the D3 could not. Well...maybe a small 7" tablet...but my 8" tablet didn't fit and definitely would with the D8.
It's awesome to see how far mobile controllers have come since I bought my old MOGA around 11 years ago.
The MOGA was nice for what it offered. But, getting it to work proper was a pain. Keeping your settings was even more of a pain.
I got it from Amazon at 40 dollars 😢 it’s an awesome controller I been using it on a iPhone 15 pro max and an iPad mini with no issues at all. Way better than some premium controllers
Are you really able to play Call of Duty Mobile?
@@johnm7882 Yes. Without any issues. It loads as an Xbox controller in the game.
you got scammed, you could've bought it from aliexpress for 25bucks.
I have one of these. Cost me £18 delivered and inc of VAT. For what you get, it is amazing for the price. The only thing that I cannot get hold of is the 2.4Ghz dongle mentioned in the manual. They also have a D9 controller, albeit at twice the price.
Ordered one after watching this video and I got one for just under £12/$15 thanks to a 'new user deal'. I just got it delivered today and can confirm it is the D8 controller, so it is possible to get one for the price ETA mentioned. Its an awesome controller for the price. Paired with a Poco X6 Pro 512GB makes a nice budget gaming device 👌
There's the BSP D9 controller that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 can use for gaming. Though the design for BSP D9 has similarities with the Playstation Portal.
bought this last week, still waiting for delivery, gonna use it on my iPad Mini 6 hopefully it fits.
Hey man thanks for another great video. Can you do some input lag comparison videos among controllers maybe?
I have a D7 model and its pretty good i use it for playing PS1, N64, GBC, GB, Mame, Snes, Nes, Sega Genesis, and Game Gear emulators.
Fiiiiinally. I have been waiting forever for a telescoping controller that 1) fits an iPad and 2) fits an iPhone without having to remove the protective case.
You want the BSP D9. It can fit up to a 10" tablet easily and the controller is much better.
@@saerend9905 Thanks!
Thank-you. I am about to by a udked mini 5 (Windows Tablet) and this may come in handy :)
i just picked up the d6 one of these today it works surprisingly well maybe not quite as good as an actual xbox controller but it fits around the phone which was what i was looking for tested it out with some cloud gaming on xbox game pass and it worked great i havent tried call of duty yet will have a couple games on warzone later though would definitely recommend.
I've been using the D8 for a few months now. I bought mines for about £21 (inc shipping). Its cheap but cheerful. Just the X-Input mode alone makes a huge difference compared to other cheap Android Controllers - even more so if you have large phone or tablet. Just like that the games that I have on my phone like Grid Autosport, COD, Asphalt 9 far more frustration free. D-Pad is a mixed bag for me. Its been harder for me to pull off moves than Mr ETA Prime here, but that's just me.
I just use an Xbox controller with an Otterbox MagSafe clip on my 15 pro max and it works wonderfully. Nothing beats a real controller, especially when it comes to build quality
This is a real controller. Microsoft is not the only manufacturer.
@@srvuk that is a toddler’s controller!
@@markaznar1979Check out the D9 controller it’s designed like a PS5 Controller
Holy coincidence, a week ago I was looking into buying this one and wrote D8 controller ETA prime.
Bought the controller, I feel more justified now that you have also reviewed it.
Literally same with me lol bought mine around a week ago and it has been great
same here@@ImAltair1
me too :D i just got home and they were on my dorestep. these are amazing
Bottom speakers will be blocked
@abdulsalamolaide5908 what telescopic controller doesn't block the bottom speakers?
Did you grab the D9 also? I saw that on aliexpress also and it looks very ergonomic like the Playstation dual sense controllers.
Fun fact: this thing also fits the Nintendo Switch and works as a decent replacement for Joy-Cons
I have been looking for telescopic controller for tablet and this one seems to be the first so far, although not a direct connection, it looks decent, I am suprised non of the popular made them, gaming on ipad/tablet with this option is also cool.
im using the bsp-d6 and its the best budget controller I own. i own like 4, and this is the best of the bunch in feeling.
I had it and it was horrible in many ways
Still have yet a great controller to hold the phone vertically for playing ds emulator
Any current users of this model can shed some light on battery usage that be great.
Lasts for a really long time, tho you have to be cautious when charging as some unit (including mine) resulted in a bloated battery after extensive use, I'd recommend not using fast chargers, 5v should be max
Why aren’t there any of these that work well with a phone case?
There’s a couple of them that do work fine with cases, I have the backbone v2
The d8 works well with casese, even with mine thath has a pop socket
@Jimbrogaming I mean it fits my ipad pro 11 inch but that's already stupid big to hind in your hands for long periods of time
Bro why are u trying to use with a case lol
@@wulf2863My IPhone 11 with a Case works perfect on D8,the reason why People prefer to have Case on is to protect their Phone and they don’t want to taking their Phone case off every time and lose it
I have the D9 and it's great. I use it more than my Gamesir X2 Pro now
What's the difference between three D8 and D9?
@@kenyakking D9 is based on PS5 controller. Likely similar buttons/triggers etc. The build quality is surprisingly good
The x2 pro is a usb c right? What’s the lag like using the d9?
@@Y-J65 I don't feel that it's any worse than using any other wireless controller? It's not really noticeable playing some PS2/Switch emulation. It's a pretty casual set up, I don't think it'd be suitable for something like online racing, but that's not what I use it for anyway.
Thank you all paired up now 👍😀
Looks like a good gamepad
if anyone have PS4 comtroller you can connect it by USB dongle its a type C to USB female
you can do a Bluetooth method with no need to third party app which is great
I use a a similar way to play mario kart tour with a controller with the touch screen emulation
Did you take it apart? How did you confirm hall sensing?
Crazy for the price
I've been looking for a way to play pinball on a tablet that works about like this might. I'll grab one just to see. Thanks
What is the model of the lenovo tablet?
Looks better than a PS Portal and more functional.
I wish you would make a list scoring them
I like to buy one but I wish they would collapse down smaller, I tend to pack stuff tightly and space is a premium.
How would this pair with an amazon fire tablet? I've had many issues pairing controllers with it such as ps4 and ps5 in the past.
I have the worst luck. Tried three of these and a different diagonal on the d-pad wasn't working on each version. Otherwise, it's a great controller, but I didn't feel like trying to get a fourth one.
I was waiting for you to use it on a switch 😢to see how it would work
Would it be able to fit a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite?
How do you setup Shooting + v3 to work with swipe base game like Temple Run or Pacman 256?
how is this in terms of quality vs the gamesir G8 or X2 Pro?
i would tape the connection page to the inside of the controller so you don't lose it
Skeptical about the build quality, Future will have to tell if it won't break
Yeah the slide out looked a bit shaky 😅
Very solid from my use.
So this could work with an Ipad air 5th generation
Mmh for Smartphone i use a razor kishi 2. Perfect even for remote play.
For bigger i need a 2d print mount
The link you posted to aliexpress is the wrong model, you linked the d3
Have you seen the easysmx m10? That is USB c and it's half the price of the backbone. I'm not sure how good it is though. Might have to buy it to give it a try.
I modded my Galileo G8 to fit the Lenovo y700, but this is good value though
I wonder if anyone made an
Android controller for rugged phones like doogee v30t or power armor 18 ultra
Can we use this in laptops??
used your link to order a d8 controller from ali. they sent me a d3. now i gotta go thru the painful return process from china
Are you sure they are Hall sensitive? I wouldn't trust Aliexpress without confirmation. Would putting magnets close to the triggers/joysticks indicate hall effekt?
Yes they are. Even the BSP D3 that I have has Hall Effect
I hav a request to review easysmx m10 controller. Want ur thought on that. Tq
A they have a star field one that looks cool also
does it fit with Legion Go
Damn, can't beat that price
pls review (cool shark jk02 controller) this controller has cooling and vibration functions!
Thanks for the video, do you plan to test the new ipega 9777s? Curious to know if the joysticks are better compared to old ipega controllers, seems to be hall effect to on this New model
I have it. It's not great. The button and stick placement is backwards which can cause pressing wrong buttons while playing.
@@davidmelendez767 thank you a lot for your answer. The ergonomics look weird indeed. Does iit have good joysticks though? Precise enough and without dead zone?
@nicod2101 Negative. Even though much an of a improvement from previous ipegas and you can adjust the tightness it still has quite of a dead zone. The bsp d8/9 I find to be much better for tablets. The gamesir 8 for phones
My only complaint with this controller is the fact that, for some reason, rumble doesn't work on Android yet. But that may be the fault of the OS
You can put this on the onexplayer x1?
Can you click the sticks? I had the Gamevice controller back in the day where you couldn't.
Nice video.
God damn it I bought the Gamesir G8 a week before you made this vid.
Bought a BSP D3 about a year ago. Besides the not so good analogs, the controller is awesome for the price. It was the first telescopic controller I got.
Seriously considering buying this one as my first upgrade (when it comes to telescopic controllers xD).
buy bsp-d9, its a better version of this one
@@landermatheus3361
May I ask, what are the differences between D8 and D9. I found some banners, but most of them in chinese xD (D9 looks kinda sick though)
@@pakuro64 Just the form factory, the internals are the same
@@landermatheus3361
Oh, I see, I see.
Welp, as I said, D9 looks sick xD
Thanks by the way
I saw D6 and D8 version, does anyone know what's the difference between these two?
Hi ETA, does it fit to xiaomi pad 5?
Will this fit a 7th gen ipad, its 10.1 inches? I recently bought one that completely lied about compatibility with gamepass, well it was except you couldn't click in the joysticks so it was completely useless.
Need one for my impossibly large s8 ultra!
U can use gamesir Galileo g8
With modifications
This is how u can do it
Review of the Tessen controller from Asus?
Does it work on ios with ps remote play on ps5?
I am using the gamesir x3 with s24 ultra, but take my case off everytime is just annoying and I wouldnt want to do that whole process just to put my phone into the controller. And trying to put my phone into the c-port of wired controller is also a pain in the ass so I am going to buy this for gaming on the go and lazy days
Any chance you could review the d9
Does it work on ipad pro 10.5 and on steam link ?
Please make a video on budget monitor 👃❤️
Is there any lag with gaming?
review the turtle beach atom next please 🤞
Does this work with PlayStation remote play?
May i know this d8 support ps remote play ?
Is the d-pad and the buttons any good for fighting games like MK11, cause my Backbone controller sucks when doing combos in fighting games.
What is that Gamepad Tester app?
Now I need one that can do a 13" tablet
The only controller I’ve found is the ipega 909, but it’s getting very dated
@@ETAPRIME I had a different ipega from around 2016, and it was terrible haha. The thumbstick sensitivity ramped up very quickly and then fell off, almost like it was boolean instead of analog.
Looks like its gonna be 3D printend joycon mounts!
@@MrHamncheezim thinking about doing the mod on the gamesir g8 galileo. Gamesir showed a new controller at ces that can natively fit up to 14 inches. They just havent launched it yet or said anything more. Its more of the style of the x2 pro. I like the g8 grips more might have to mod.
I bought both the d8 and d9 from ali express after watching this video. I really think you dhould cover the d9.
