My advice is this. If you’re young and have 1 or more like minded friends; have each member of your crew deep dive into one specific aspect or skill. As you all grow and gain experience, your crew will become proficient and profitable. Have fun but make sure to talk and make a plan.
Keep up the good work and keep sharing content. All the cars and trucks that I like to work on are rusted out and no longer exist where I live up north. It is really cool to see these vehicles on your channel.
Love the video Bro! You are 100% correct. We are of similar ages (I'm 43) and I remember being a teenager and working on cars and struggling to determine if a fastener was metric or standard. My old Craftsman tool set was a mishmash of metric and standard and I would carry a handful of sockets under the car to see if the 5/8 fit better or the 16mm. Keep up the awesome videos Brother - looks like you got a lot more than 12 views on this one!
Im young but fortunately able to take on building my own car and there's not nearly as many young guys into actually doing the building compared to what I'm heard your generation talk about. I think somewhere in the mid 2000's engineer-heads started designing cars rather than mechanics lol so I think the barrier to entry is higher on many modern vehicles, but on the otherside of the coin, we have the most access to free information than ever before. It really goes as far as you want to take it. Good video dude I subbed
@@ITB_2.9L_E30-DCS great mindset my dude, you will go far! Also, I see the E30 in your pic/ name. I built an e46 drift car (it’s on my IG). BMW’s have ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES for builds! Have fun!
Great message. Appreciate you passing on your positivity and can do attitude. Keep pumping out content your a natural speaker. Thank you for your contact and all the vest for 2025 bud
I get so stuck that it's ridiculous working on my '54 Hudson Hornet. Most of the time it's not money. Even when I know exactly what to do. Just mental block and anxiety.
Another random tip if you really are broke stop drinking. I know it sounds like a big ask, but you’d be amazed about how much money you can actually save not even from booze itself, but Uber’s and eating drunken food all that crap that comes with it. The money will show I promise.
I have a boat I spent 3 summers tracking down and fixing issues. The thing that will stop a lot of people is what if I break it then my car/boat ect is worthless. If I payed to have someone work on all stuff I own I wouldn't own much. Worst case is having to tow it into a shop when you have the money if you can't feagure it out. If you do that ask them to tell you how they fixed it so you'll know tell next time. if they are a good shop they will take 1-2 mins to tell you

On paper, I should be an addict, dead, or in prison. My advice is to sell whatever you can find on marketplace / eBay and start flipping parts for the types of cars you’re into. You’ll create a network and give yourself options. Work, grind, make it happen!!
@UnclePhilsGarage our past sounds quite similar. Hate to hear it bro. But it does make us stronger in a sense. I appreciate the insight and the positive feedback.
Man, Life ain't all that dark and difficult. Yes it will be a challenge if done right. You have to have a little bit of faith in THE PROCESS, accompanied by an optimistic attitude that follows a plan of creation though. I'm not telling you how to live your life, what to do with your current circumstances or even why to think, but God is for ALL. Not everyone is for The Truth though... No matter what, We always have a friend in Jesus.

Bro you come from a background. Some of us don't. No good parents. No military. No money. What's your advice in that situation?
