Gordon was my great-grandfather. We all called him Pops. He sadly passed away in February 2015 due to Parkinson's progressing worse and worse. He was an amazing man, and a huge influence on the whole family. Even in his final days, still made everyone laugh, still smiled, and...acted like everything was fine. I inherited one of his accordions he repaired (more like enhanced...and it was labeled as Piatanesi rather than Colombo & Sons) and my parents got a Colombo & Sons accordion. Pops liked to mess with people, when my parents got the accordion, the key for the case it is in was missing. The key is still missing. I like to believe Pops is up there laughing about it, perhaps jingling the key in his hand. Rest in peace Pops, we love and miss you every day.

The neat thing about videos is that even after people have passed on, they are still teaching us things.
