I had so many things in soil blocks and cell packs that I didn't know what to do with.😂 I got way carried away, and I didn't even grow half the seeds I bought from Johnny's and other growers. It was so nuts I couldn't even remember the names on things bc I just started throwing things in my bed and throwing dirt on them. I planted so much stuff late in July that I'm shocked at how well it all grew. I can now identify what they are. 😂 I have one last bunch of flowers that are huge and lush getting ready to bloom. I think it has to be some kind of rubeckia. I grew three different kinds, so it has to be at least one of them. My stock is still blooming. I mean, it's just nuts. I was told it wouldn't flower once it gets hot. Half of this stuff that's been going crazy with blooms are cool flowers, too. Maybe bc they are all mashed together and keeping each other shaded, idk? The only thing I'm bummed about is my Bells of Ireland. I threw it with the rest, and I think it was way too crowded and shaded out bc I only found 2 mini plants that look like parsley with a few bells on it. They are about 5 inches tall😂.I just watched Florets video on saving sweet pea seeds, and it takes 2 months for them to stay on the plant before you can pick them. It's a great video and just in time bc I stopped cutting them 2-3 weeks ago but should have started sooner. We don't usually get our first frost until the first week of November, but we can in late October at times. I'm wondering if a frost cloth would protect the seed pods? She made it very clear at what stage they are fully developed and when to pick for them to be viable, and I have $$$ out there. They are still pumping out flowers, and some are at least 10 feet tall. It was a huge learning experience and a lot of hard work having to tie them daily, and the bugs this year are horrific. I've been battling green aphids on them since early summer. I bought thousands of ladybugs, and it wasn't enough. Now they have powder mildew with everything else in my garden. Making a lot of changes for next spring along with being very proactive with soil health and bugs early on. It's always fun watching you. I can relate to so much.🤗
Hi Mary! Good luck in saving your sweet pea seeds! I bet you’ll get some. I’ve pretty much stopped cutting on mine and our frost should come mid-October, but last year I was able to save some! I’m glad you can rejoice with me or commiserate with me depending on the circumstance! 😂 The number of seedlings I had die or be left in their cell trays this year is more than ever before; yet, this was also my best year yet, so it’s amazing how the garden still gives back to us even if we’re a bit negligent or unable to care for all of it all of the time. It’s really quite a beautiful relationship we have with our gardens isn’t it?! ❤️
Just found your channel and love it! Btw I’m so sorry for your loss. I also miscarried and was shocked at how common it is but no one talks about it. Kudos to you for speaking of it and your courage to persevere. The garden rejuvenates the soul. It clarifies things for me as it always reminds me life continues to move forward, continues to grow. Sorry for this message from a complete stranger! You aren’t alone!
Thank you so much! Comments like these are the best and remind me why it's okay to talk about it, so thank you for saying something. I've had two within 3 months this year and I'm praying we can end the year with good news. I'm sorry for your loss as well. It's heartbreaking in any form. Glad you love my channel! :) Happy to have you here!
I'm in zone 6B. I grew tetra white feverfew this year and liked it. I'm a home gardener who is learning a lot about cut flowers mostly as a hobby. I'm doing more double click cosmos next year and I also was able to get some cupcake seed for next year. I grew the orange ones this year which is a slightly different variety and they were so prolific compared to the frilly pink cosmos I usually grow. I also plan to grow more seashells cosmos next year. I am trying to squeeze way too many varieties on my less than 1/4 acre garden along with lots of vegetables. But I love it! Looking forward to your lisianthus video.
Get it!!!! I’ve heard great things about the seashell cosmos. Fitting all the cut flowers and color in a small space is the best. It’s such a testimony of what magic you can create without a ton of land! ❤️
Just found you! Love your content. I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriage, so tough, ugh! Thank you for sharing this video with us. I wouldn't have noticed the chocolate spot until you pointed it out, lol! So now I'm going over to the other videos to catch up. Can't wait to see the other videos.
Hi Madeline! Thank you! :) I'm glad you're here! Yeah, it's been a trying year, but we're very grateful to be expecting identical twin girls in a few short months here. Lots going on this spring!
@@TinysGarden oh my goodness!! Congratulations!! (again) It's going to be interested to see how you manage twins and that beautiful garden. My son is a youtuber so I know how much work it is to set up your camera, edit, etc. Take care of yourself.
So sorry about your loss. God bless your heart!
Thank you, Nikki! I appreciate that!
The pumpkins on a stick made me smile. I can’t wait to grow those next year.
Aren’t they totally cool! I didn’t know they existed until I found them online last year. Super easy to grow too!
Chocolate 🍫 part was cracking me up, Steph! Thanks for great video. 😊
Like, the WHOLE video...how did I not feel that!? Lol, oh well! We are who we are right? Glad you enjoyed! Thanks, Nikki!

🤣Only you could pull off a 30-minute video with chocolate on your face!! Tiny's cooking video's next!!
That's exactly what my husband said LOL!
Muy buen jardin
Thank you, Yesid!

Hey. I’ve missed you. Have you ordered your seeds for 2024 yet? If more people would just “garden” we would have so much more peace
Hi Elon! Hoping to be back in some capacity now! I finally got seeds ordered last week. Seed haul coming soon!
I’m sorry about your miscarriage. That’s a tough thing to go through.
Thank you ❤️ It certainly is. Thankful to find solace again in the garden.
