IMO vaporwave is best enjoyed when you listen to entire albuns, so Vapor Memory is really a cool place to be. The simply slowed down remixes are just ok, they don't seem to evoke any particular feeling or vibe.

When I was younger, I was really into FNAF. I had been there since the beginning and I had watched just about every youtube play it. I stumbled across some sort of lyric comic or animation one day with this song telling the stories of the kids dying from the children's perspective. I hadn't been so broken by the story before. I had really connected with the children and really understood their pain instead of brushing it off as I previously had. I watched the video over and over again for weeks, sometimes for the story, sometimes for the song. In about 2017, I started to fall out of the community. I was losing interest and I just wanted to be included by the other kids at school so I started to get into things I didn't really enjoy for the sake of trying to seem relatable. COVID-19 rolls around and I've found vaporware and slowed versions of songs and I'm absolutely loving it. I just let UA-cam be my DJ as I draw and I suddenly hear the first few bars of this song and I instantly burst into tears from the sudden wave of nostalgia. I decide that it's time to get back into FNAF and I've never been happier. I've met so many awesome people who are still posting and raving about FNAF today and I honestly couldn't be happier. Thank you for making this. It's brought back so many old memories of me and my two closest friends at the time acting out the games, throwing around theories at recess and lunch and doodling little drawings of our favourite animatronics. Because of one song, you've flipped my whole life back onto the right track and I cannot be more grateful. Thank you. Thank you so so much.

It doesn't bother you, but the loudness of the children playing triggers something inside you and you can't help but to crawl into a ball on the bench and cry.
The picture makes me think of the real casualties to war. In the end it's always the kids that suffer the greatest, cuz they have to rebuild themselves and their community on a broken foundation, when parents are too scarred to pass love or care.
It makes me think of when I was a kid thinking that my adult life was going to be great. And now that I'm an adult I'm just reminiscing about my childhood memories.
The song (especially the music video) scarred me before, I didn't need this. The original song was and still is a song that gives me paralyzing anxiety, but now you've just added terrifying demonic undertones. In the end though, I give it a solid 8 or 9/10. Great edit. This song is actually sad and depressing as everyone knows, but to the original version it just sounds so upbeat and happy and summer vibes, yet the lyrics are so creepy, dark, dystopian and warn of the child losing innocence as they age, and government corruption as well.

Funny enough, this song makes me really happy. I discovered it at a time when I was feeling like shit, and I used to play Beat Saber for hours to escape from everything. Funny enough, this song makes me really happy. I discovered it at a time when I was feeling like shit, and I used to play Beat Saber for hours to escape from everything. This was one of my favorite songs to play. A little melancholic, but sort of calming and hopeful. I've yet to pay attention to what the lyrics actually say.
