The United Nations says that almost 300,000 Palestinians have fled Rafah in a week. Israel’s strongest ally, the United States has given the harshest public critique of Israel’s war in Gaza. However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has decided to continue with the war in Gaza. Meanwhile, Hamas has accused President Joe Biden of supporting Israel. This comes at a time when Netanyahu faces strong protests from Israelis who are demanding the government to secure a hostage release deal with Hamas.
