My first reason song

This is my first song using reason (4.0), its for a project for this midi class im taking and i wanted to share it with you guys. Tell me what you think. Is it tight, is it wack? What should i add to it? What should i take out? The main piano licks are samples i found in the dr rex intsrument hip hop loops folder, the scratches i also found in the dr rex scratch folder. The piano chords, bassline, bells, strings, and drum pattern i made myself.

yo this not to bad. Too many changes though you need to have it a lil more repeattive though. I have heard these factory loops I like how you changed the tempo on them so don't worry bout having to use the factory stuff. Because you can use REX and Loops and all that just be more innovative you will be fine. Ohhh yeah @ wezBolton I think all producers use sampled waves.

Yea not too bad mate, but it would be better if you could make some new sounds / FX, spice it up a little. There are plenty of preset FX patches built in, try playing with those on some of your parts. (-:

ya i know i felt bad when this song was played in class and everyone knew it was a rex file. I need recycle so i can sample. What do you think about the other stuff that weren't samples?

100% standard rex loops from the factory soundset. . need to be a little more creative mate. This is basically like loading loops and hitting 'play'.
