- Say goodbye to those Fourth of July drone formations. The technology may be dazzling but lots of people are demanding the return of old-fashioned fireworks that light up the night sky. The Macy's extravaganza firework show is expected to draw millions of spectators in person and on TV. The show will include 60,000 shells set off from five barges along a mile-long stretch of the Hudson River. Drones will also be incorporated in the show along with fireworks.
How about exploding drones?

That's what they did in Denver, though the drone show was on July 3rd.
Thats what they do with the NYC Macy's fireworks last year, awesome statue of liberty show and then you saw the fireworks after. It was like an opening/into something amazing, and it was.

I can understand why some people don't like fireworks. Verterans who suffer from PTSD, people who have Autism and can't stand loud noises, also it scares pets and wildlife. I don't mind the drones; I love the creativity. But It's only once a year. Wearing a pair of noise suppressers doesn't hurt.
As a disabled veteran, I'm 100% for fireworks. I'm embarrassed that any vet would have a problem with fireworks.

Dones can only be seen. With fireworks, not only can you see them, but you can hear them, feel the boom in your chest and smell the smoke. It's a more immersive experience.

I’m extremely sensitive to very loud noises like fireworks. Stayed inside every single year since I was able to hear, never gone out on the first week. So I like the idea of just drones. I wanna experience the Fourth of July for once in my life before I die…

Like we have the normal internet that exists now, and the us government has their own private version of an internet, not connected to our internet, that obviously they can only use at secure locations

They ought to rig fireworks to drones so as the drones shine in the sky the fireworks will launch up higher than they would in the ground.

Santa Barbara California they have the best and longest firework show worth to wait you can see that whole spectrum view lots of fun amazing style of fireworks 🎈 🐼 colors of our flag 🇺🇸 and plenty more for family to enjoy once a year show.

Independence Day celebrates our country being founded. People sacrificed their lives to gain independence. Americans can be happy they have their own country, while still liking Great Britain and Germany. Our relationship with the UK is better now than before we fought, because now we interact as two sovereign countries rather than colony and empire.
1st drone show was super cool. By the the time I saw my 3rd, it was super boring, like stick figures forming in slow motion.
