@zandig666 nowadays it's tough to find an EQ pedal that's not true bypass. But after trying the more expensive MXR and a couple others, I think this pedal sounds the best and is the best value. That being said, a 10 band only becomes more useful over a 7 band if your amp doesn't have an active EQ control.
@JRs-guitars thx bud !! The last variable I have is I find boss stuff is typically good but quite often not great but good so I'm always itching to try other stuff bc quite often I love the sound of something !!🤟✔️📶🔟+1
@@Silvabulletproduction8337 funny u mentioned that, I have a couple 80s fender amps that did benefit from a boost in the mids n lows....these are all interactive I was actually amazed at what it needed to get a nice driven tone !!!🤟
For the same price range...the only others I considered were the Engl Fireball 25 (built in noise gate/attenuator) and the Peavey 6505-II. The biggest advantages of the Stealth over the other 2 is that 50 watts is great for almost anything, the adjustable bias in the rear, and having 3 channels.
@@JRs-guitars I’ve had the fireball 25 and I liked it but sold it as I preferred my Dover. Yeah for the price point the stealth has a lot of features .
@Gazza Duce ah ok. I think the two things that really made me not pick the Fireball was the lack of a resonance control and lack of exterior bias adjustments.
@Gazza Duce that too. If you're going to get a shared EQ amp...a LBX-S with this EQ pedal for way less money is a better option if you're okay with EL84 tubes.
I have a 7 band i like it id like to try a 10 band ... 2 things i want is true bybass ✔ and does it sound good ✔️

I’m sold,I’m getting one TODAY!🤘🤘
Nice! You'll love it if you're finding that your amp is lacking something or has too much of something in the EQ area.
@@JRs-guitars my amp is lacking in mids ,has more of a scooped sound need that extra mid boost

I need to get a stealth 50w next. How are you finding it and any amps you prefer in this price point ?
