I thank you so much for uploading lateef ilori live music. I don't believe I can hear his music again. I was lateef ilori prouded fan. May his soul rest in peace.
I’ll never forget when u passed and Shadia(ashewo olomo) called me 😢😢it was a very sad memory that av got to trek from Oja bus stop to ECN to meet with Ladun (ladun promotions). Proudly Ajegunle babe

Lateef ilori would have been a very strong force in the fuji industry today in Nigeria if not for his untimely death. He was well known in the Ajegunle/Badia area of Lagos. The young man died in his sleep after he returned from one of his social events. He was well known for good compositions, and vulgar lyrics; He usually praised his wife as "Alashewo Shani Shadiatu oh" it was a sign of him showing love to his wife. His death was a big loss to his fans, and the Nigerian music industry; because if he had lived longer he would have been a big plus, and inspiration to so many grassrooters. Egba Alake thank you so much for digging out his life play, and also bringing him back to our memory....Although everyone will die one day, but Death wasn't fare to Lateef at a very stage that his career was about to blossom beyond all expectations...Mr. "Fuji Tutuye" Sleep well...
Thanks so much egba alake for uploading lateef ilori live play. I don't think I can ever hear any of his evergreen music on UA-cam. You did the impossibility, you are indeed wonderful. Kudos to you. More of ilori live play from you. Big thanks to you once again. Bravo!
EgbaAlake God bless you real good for bringing back the good old days lyrics wow can’t believe this...am overwhelmed that my kids were asking what the problem is.Latif oko shadia(ashewo’olomo)RIP Latif.
EgbaAlake thank you for uploading this music, you bring us back to old skool of late prince Lateef Ilori Alarape. He is one of fuji musician I so much love when I was young bcos of his shaje composition. Although I was in school in far away kwara but this man was so popular there even more than fuji musicians living there in that time. We missed him so much. May his gentle soul continue to rest in peace.

Thank you, Abiodun for getting back. It's been most challenging getting Ilori's music file ever since your request. Will try and post some of the concluding files in my possession.
I have been asking around for Lateef Ilori's songs but I couldn't find any since 2001. It just occurred to me today that in today's modern world where you can google virtually everything, I might just be fortunate to find something on it. I just put his name and found myself here. This is great! Weldone and thank you for adding this. Please add more if you can. Can we get an upcoming artist to study late Ilori and adopt his style of music - rhythm, simplicity, lyrics, clarity and pace.
Ilori was one of the best in live play. I was told he did not wax any record but concentrated on live shows only...I did not know he is no more. May his soul rest in peace
